These are straight forward plug and play units. If you're physically able to work a cordless drill and climb a ladder save yourself money and do it yourself. The only thing you'll need a hvac tech for is to pull a vacuum before releasing the freon. The prices I just saw listed here to have one installed are infuriating and unjustifiable.

Probably about 12,000. Just 1 of these 18,000 covers most of our 1700 sq foot house and keeps it nice and cool.

will this support cold climate 0 degree weather?

Heat pumps these days will work down to negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit. They've added defrost cycles for the outside unit to manage this.
