CargoLoc 32540 16" Crossbar Pad, 2 Piece

Good price compared to 3” foam pipe insulation I was looking to buy. I use these on each side of my kayak stackers to pad where the kayaks sit in the rack. The downside is that these pads should fasten to the roof rack with Velcro otherwise they slide around too easily when loading and unloading. I secured some Velcro straps on each one. The fabric is poor quality. It faded from black to gray in about 2 weeks and also would prefer no logo on the fabric. BUT, compared to Yakima, Thule, and Dakine pads (which are way overpriced for being fabric-covered foam) they get the job done at a fraction of the price.

I like it is easier to spot my car. Ties That come with them do not keep them in place but with extra twine they work.

the best for the price compared with others ,make sure you tie it real good the strings come loose pretty easily I lost one on the interstate luckily I saw it and pulled over safety and grabbed

Fit on my 2x2 square tubing lumber rack on my truck. Protects surfboard nicely. I hope they last long! But cheap enough to buy more if needed.

Its an ok product... Just dont like after about 6 months the corlor tends to fade a lot.

They do the job just right

The foam pad fell out when I was driving. The strings need to be elastic for tie down, and not something that resembles yarn.
