This glass mortar and pestle bowl is perfect for crushing powdered makeup to make new makeup mixtures. It is very affordable priced and well made. I will definitely buy another.

Good quality and sturdy. Great for small medication crushing

This is an extremely helpful tool for those looking to crush small pills. It’s advantage over a standard mortar and pestle is that you are able to see that you’ve removed all of the powdered pill from the mortar, due to the mortar’s transparency and smooth surface of the glass. This is an HUGE advantage over opaque mortars, especially when dealing with small pills where every bit counts. Be aware that because of the smooth surface of the glass, technique must be modified from a circular grinding to a tapping motion. Tapping the pill instantly shatters it, continuing to tap turns it into a fine powder. Depth of the mortar keeps pills from popping out and the pestle is heavy enough to crush pills easily. Very pleased with the design and function of this tool!

The mortar was well made, very thick and solid, heavy and well made. The pestle was large enough and with a long enough stem to make it comfortable to grip comfortably. It was easy to clean. It did have a pour spout, barely. It was barely noticeable and didn't help much. Holding it while emptying the mortar was somewhat challenging in large part because it was so heavy. I haven't dropped it yet, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't break even if I did. It would be nice if it had a better pour spout and was easier to grip, but it is still an excellent mortar and pestle set

This is a nice glass mortal and pestal. I bought it to crush pills into powder. My only complaints are that it's much larger than 2oz (actually holds 4oz of liquid), and the powder sticks to the glass more than I would like.
