Shadowrun Anarchy

First off, it's not a board game. This is an alternative way to play Shadowrun RPG. Where as the current 5th edition is very simulation heavy, this is focused much more on story. The overall mechanics are simplified and handy guidelines are given for converting v5 material over to the Anarchy. There is a good range of predefined characters, background material and scenarios to get you started. All in all, very well presented and a fantastic way for people who are new to role playing to get into the genre.

Having owned and played the original 4th edition of Shadowrun, this 20th Anniversary Edition fixes all the problems I ever had with the original - doing stuff in the Matrix now makes sense, other rules tweaked, and the layout is a huge improvement. If you like cyberpunk, buy this!

The book arrived in good time and was in good condition. The book contains everything you need to start playing, however it is worth your gaming group expanding your library with a number of the other souce books to flesh out the setting and kit.

Overall a great book for a great game. Print quality and colors are great as well. The hard cover, in my case, was a bit dent on one side, but overall didn't hinder the books use and the look.

Shadowrun is a fantastic setting and one of the best RPG systems ever.I love 4th editions as a lot of the rules has been streamlined and made easier. Also the updates to the setting with AR and wireless are very cool.

Until 5th edition came out my favourite version of the rules since 1st edition (no-one can beat that version).
