We have a 42 lb Keeshond who hurt his shoulder jumping out of the car. The stepstool made it worse and he didn't like it. He is all healed up now.My only complaints are not a good enough reason to not buy anther for the other car. The bolt holding where it folds keeps trying to snake its way out. We have to push it back. And the fabric hand hold came off on one side. But I did just order another as it works.

Not as wide as I would have liked. The ramp is sturdy and of good quality. I have a large dog and it took some serious coaching to get him to even attempt to use it; still have a bit of a challenge. I think a little more width would be helpful.

My sr dog has developed arthritis in hips so I purchased to help him get in my honda crv back door..He was hesitant the first time and slid down on it as its a rough surface but its still slippery so I cut old rug into 2 pieces and used construction adhesive to ramp and rug stayed bonded so now theres no issue for him and he made it up with no problem as he was secure..This is well made and not that heavy to open and Iam a 76 yr old woman and this sure helps my back also seeing my dog weighs 70 lbs..

Bought this ramp to help move my medical scooter in & out of my suv They give you the measurements & i didn’t ck. Returned due to wrong size but really liked the ramp.

I have a 90 pound lab. This ramp is able to handle her weight. Only problem was the latch to hold both pieces together. It does not line up, but not a problem for me.

Works well for our labs who are about 80 lbs.

Everything was very good except the width of the ramp. I don’t have a van or an SUV, just a sedan. The width of my car door makes it a challenge to get it in the car so my dog will walk up into the car. Just an inch smaller should work. Othe than that the ramp is GREAT. Thank you.

Our pup is a bit too clumsy to jump up yet, and this works well to get her into the bed of the truck without lifting. Minus one star because I feel like the latch is a bit flimsy and will break easily, but when that happens I’ll likely just replace it with a metal one from the hardware store. Also the shipping got a bit muddled, though we did at least receive it.

There are a number of problems with this ramp. First of all, even at 6 feet it's too steep for a small SUV. I have large breed dogs (think lab, golden retriever) and they won't go on it. It's too narrow for a large dog as well as too steep. It's not very sturdy either and I would be worried about it staying on the hatchback opening when a dog was using it. Not impressed.

I have an SUV and this ramp is SO steep that my dog is absolutely terrified of it. It's too wide and long to use at the lower points on the side doors and despite the SUV it takes of about half of the space that is there for the dog.I also want to mention that the latch and the handles broke within a month of purchase (used only once a week). With the handles it was very manageable and not overly heavy, but now that the handles are broken, it is so large and awkward to manoeuvre (I am only 5'2" and about 115lb) that I kind of hate it. Overall a fairly crap purchase.
