Good mower
Arrived ahead of schedule. Easy to assemble and filling oil wasn’t a problem as some other reviews mention. Just use a funnel. It didn’t come with bottle of engine oil included as some mention which was disappointing. Nice weight and easy to manoeuvre. Only used twice so far and probably doesn’t cut as low as I want but does cut well. Good price and would recommend.

Imptessed
Seems very good quality for the price, assembly was easy and the engine oil was included in the box. I'm running Aspen fuel and the mower starts first pull. It's light enough to carry if need be. The height adjustment is easy to use and ranges from 25 to 75mm. Cuts well with all the cuttings ending up in the grass box which is simple to get on and off for emptying. All round I'd say it's a good mower for a smaller lawn and so far I've found no down points with it.

Excellent Value / Well Built
Context: We bought a Mountfield SP454 with 44cm cutting width for nearly £300 from B&Q for our 3 uneven and moderately sized lawns. The deck on this mower had a habit of periodically dropping to the lowest height. After two seasons, the deck would not stay up with any load in the grass box. I attempted to repair it, but the deck height adjustment lever relied on a plastic wheel backplate to keep it under tension and there is no support in the backplate to help it resist any lateral tension. It transpired that this mower was a design specific for B&Q which was sub-standard in many respects. It's only saving grace is that for the two seasons it lasted, it did make a neat cut. I didn't like the prospect of spending that much on a mower again only to have it last a year or two as that is more costly than paying someone to mow our lawns. In my research for a replacement I discovered Webb. After reading the reviews in various places, I concluded that the Web Classic was probably the best affordable option. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. It is not perfect, but it is pretty darn good. Assembly was trivial. The bearings in the wheels do make it roll very easily. We opted for the 41cm self-propelled version with the smallest deck because we have to carry the mower down a narrow side alley to reach the back garden. The mower is light enough and the deck stiff enough to make it easy to self propel over uneven and rough ground. The height adjustment is integral to the deck rather than bolted on the side. The large port into the grass box does not easily clog when cutting wet grass. Amazingly, the supplied manual contains exploded parts diagrams and parts lists. This is hugely advantageous for people who like to maintain and repair things rather than buy new things and wastefully throw away the old things. There are a few drawbacks however which stop me from awarding the mower 5 stars. 1) The wheels protrude quite a bit from the deck, making the 41cm Webb Classic as wide as the 44cm Mountfield 2) It doesn't cut as neatly as the Mountfield 3) The grass box doesn't have a lower lip, so when emptying it is difficult not to drop clippings as you draw it away from the mower Overall, it is a solid budget option and I would 100% recommend. I'll be looking at Webb in future for any garden machinery.

Decent mower
Bought from Webb directly via Amazon (with 10% discount offer). Arrived on time, very easy to assemble and of good quailty construction for the price. No oil included (the 2020 reviews mention there was a bottle of oil in the box), but just takes SAE 30 available from any hardware shop. Put the oil in and fuel and started on the first pull! Made a very neat job of the grass, much better than my ancient Flymo, and it's quiet for a petrol mower. One minor point is I checked the spark plug gap (was running fine but I like to tinker) and it was a little narrow. Gapped out properly as per the manual and it runs even more smoothly. Over all very decent for the price and hopefully the engine (Webb branded but made by Sanli) will be reliable it some care.

Not for left-handed users
Have had this mower for nearly 4.5years, firstly if you’re left-handed this isn’t for you. The pull cord is in the right side and has to be pulled at a very specific angle with your right hand whilst you use your left hand to hold the handle bar lever. Near impossible for left-handed users. This leads to the next problem once you’ve pulled it and if it doesn’t start straight away then you have to wait some time before making another attempt as it just won’t start up. And finally if you don’t mow the entire lawn in one go and let go of the handle bar then the engine won’t start again straight away so you’re left waiting again. Gave 3 stars because it did mow the lawn evenly and wasn’t hard to push along.

Highly recommended
It's quite heavy and perhaps abitlouderthanothermowersive owned, ... but the plusses include great quality, very easy to start, powerful, easy to adjust the cutting height.

Very good .. but..
It is a very good lawn mower. used it professionally for nearly two years problem free before giving it a service 👍 And when folded down fits neatly in the back of a car. Only slight niggle is the plastic tighteners for the handle bar joints are comically flimsy, but nothing that can't be resolved with at sturdy wing nut. Would also be nice if the hopper was either a tiny bit bigger, or it's frame sturdier (staying up and not sagging) when it starts getting heavy. But very good lawnmower.. better than a lot of others three times the price Webb Power 💪😆
