Spirit Animal Wisdom Cards

Spirit Animal Wisdom Oracle Cards have a very gentle energy emanating from them. Cards are of regular oracle size with a matt finish and a OK card stock. Cards themself are beautiful with soft watercolour illustrations by Nikki Strangen. There is an accompanying 71 pages guide book written by Katie- Jane Wright. It has some spreads as well as a brief description about each card. She has also included some crystals as well as elemental associations with each animal.Katie also has included some unique animal energies such as Kangaroo, Flamingo, Field Mouse, Leaf cutter Ant which I'm looking forward to work with.Overall a beautiful deck if you are interested in working with animal spirits/ totem.

I’m going to start off by saying that the card stock is not that much different from the cardboard lids you get on metal takeaway containers. Very odd texture. Not quite glossy or matte but will pick up fingerprints easily.Two of the cards were cut incorrectly and so cannot be used with the deck. They were smaller than all of the other cards and the edges were different - definitely not intentional as they were in the middle of the deck upon arrival.That being said, the artwork is STUNNING. The backs of these cards are beautiful and there are some paintings on these cards that just leap out at me.However, this is not an oracle deck for beginners. There is some advanced subject-based terminology, and heavy use of elements. And instead of a basic spread guide the big spread that this deck offers in the guidebook is a chakra spread, with no explanation as to what chakras are...so definitely not a beginner/first oracle deck.

Beautiful artwork on the cards and inspiring quotes. I love how it includes the elements too! A downside, however, is the material of the cards. The top card was ever so slightly damaged when I opened the deck but it was very minor. The main issue I have is that they are a difficult material to shuffle. The glossy surface makes the cards like to stay together meaning that you don’t get many fly-out cards. The cards are also very big but this is not such an issue as you can simply shuffle them upright and it means more room for the stunning artwork. Overall, I’d recommend them but I wish they came in a better card stock.

This has officially become my favourite deck. The guidance is 100% on point every single time and the message accompanying each card is amazing too. Such a beautiful set of cards and I really like the illustration style too.

I was looking for a set of animal oracle cards and am really happy with my choice. The artwork is gorgeous and the messages have been on point.I was a little concerned having read other reviews about the card quality but they really are fine.

After using these, I found they were very 'additional' but not a pack that offers great readings or insights. Nice pictures but not necessary in my tool kit.
