Got this top to replace my older bestop that I had over 20 years, great tops, anyway I let it set in the sun while I was removing the old top, not to hard to change but it does take some time and you really could use a friends help,I got most of it done and put the top on the front and sides, but no matter what I did I couldn’t do the back by myself, had to wait for my wife to get off work, then got her to pull down and I was finally able to put the top in the hooks, I thought that would be the hardest part, nope, the back window was super hard to do, but eventually we got it, other than that, it fits tight, so I’m letting mine stretch a week or so before I try to drop the top, but the fit and material are top notch, it’s well worth the money

At this price point though, we didn't expect perfection. We have been very impressed with the top so far. Amazed since it was so inexpensive.Installation was not bad - would have been much smoother had my husband read the directions before attaching it upside down to the header panel. Luckily, that was an easy fix! There is a slight fitment issue on the drivers side. It seems just a bit too far, maybe 3/4-1", forward where top hooks onto door surrounds. However, it doesn't seem to interfere with overall fit - top does fit tightly. It is surprising quality for the price.It is amazingly quiet. We get more noise from the seatbelts rattling in wind with windows out than from the top. When windows in, still quieter than expected - can hear stereo & hold a conversation with no problem. There is some noise, but if you have a Jeep, then you should be used to it.The fabric seems heavy enough to last for awhile. Its not as heavy as OEM, but it is a good, hefty weight. The color is good. We got black denim. It is a black with a slight grey cast - almost perfect match to our slightly faded fenders.The windows are a nice dark tint. Very nice on super sunny days! The zippers seem sturdy & strong. The teeth are substantial.Have had no issues with the top (other than slight fitment issue). Definitely no leaks. After all the rain we have had, if there was a leak, the TJ would be full of water.We had needed a replacement top and we needed it fast - got 1 day shipping. Had it on just in time for a club trail ride. Have had this on our 2001 TJ for about a month now. We have had no issues zipping windows in and out or putting top up or down. Still amazed we got it at such a low price point. It has really surprised us with its quality and performance.

After purchasing a 2000 Wrangler, i quickly realized the top was going to have to be replaced, due to many busted seams and loose clip in rails. So I started researching only to find that replacement tops are not cheap. So when I found this PE replacement and saw the price I instantly became interested. I read many reviews, some good, some bad, so I was some what skeptical because of the price. I went ahead and ordered it and thought i'd roll the dice on it. It arrived packaged very well. I took it out and was quickly surprised in the strength of the material, expecting some paper thin canvas, the material was actually quite thick. The install was a breeze and after all was said and done, the top looks great on my Jeep. The windows are much thinner than stock windows, but doesn't make that much of a difference when it comes to road noise (which doesn't bother me anyway, its a jeep). I have no complaints and am extremely impressed. I highly recommend this replacement top to anyone who isn't trying to spend a lot of money on one. I plan to take my stock top to an Auto upholstery shop and get a quote to have all the seams re-worked and then having a back up. Just an idea for those out there who might be in the same boat I was.

I love when people write reviews on products because it is so helpful! I am going to be one of those people and give this product an excellent review. I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler X that needed a new top and windows. I researched and found this product, so glad I did. If you need a replacement top, buy this one....you will not be disappointed!! Install was easy and product fits great. It does require two people to install but I am so pleased with the product especially for the price. If you are on the fence buying a top, don't be with this one....it is a great buy!!

*For 2005 Jeep TJ*The top came earlier than expected and was packaged really nicely! I was able to switch tops by myself in about 20-30 minutes, though it did need some pushing and pulling to get it in place. It fits perfectly and I’m so happy with this product!Feels thicker and stronger than my Quadratec top that came with the Jeep when I bought it. Super impressed and I’ll update if I have any issues or continue to love it!

Excellent price, delivery, and fairly good quality. Did not feel the zipper placements are conducive to easy installation.Still cannot fully zip rear window. Hopefully warmer weather will loosen it and will be able to fully zip closed.

Good value for the cost. You may need someone to help install. Instructions could be better.

I bought this item almost a year ago and have had no issues. It is very durable and stood up to the massive amounts of snow we had this past winter.The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was I was a little dissapointed when the weather became warm and I realized to my dismay that the top does not include the snaps to roll up the rear window. Since that is the only issue I've come across since my purchase I would definately recommend and plan on purchasing this brand again when the time comes.
