Decent quality yoga mat
I'm very pleased with the quality of this yoga mat. I bought it after seeing my friend with one and noticing that it seemed quite thick compared to the ones they usually provide at my yoga class. Usually, I really struggle to kneel on the mats and have to pad them up quite a bit with towels. I didn't have that problem with the mat. Admittedly it was still a little uncomfortable but it was bearable and I could tell a huge difference in mat thickness compared to what I'd usually use. The only reason it loses a star was because as the class went on, the mat did become a little slippy which I've never experienced before when doing yoga. It wasn't too bad though, so I'd probably recommend this mat. It's not too badly priced and feels decent quality.

Slippery little character
Seems a very good quality mat. Nice and thick, but not too heavy. Only problem is that out of the packing it was ridiculously slippery (as others have written). So much so that I couldn't do a few basic poses on it properly. However, gave it a rinse under a cold shower with a little soap and after drying seems much improved. Only time (and a bunch of yoga classes) will tell if it's up to the job long term so will update the review in a few months!

Great yoga mat
I'm not an advanced yoga practitioner. I just needed a mat that I can use for exercise and the occasional yoga session. I bought this mat off Amazon 3 years ago to do yoga at my local gym where I lived back then. I wanted a thicker mat as my knees were hurting with the normal 4mm mat. The mat has had a long time off since. I recently started taking up Body Balance at my current gym (which is a mixture of yoga, tai chi and pilates), and this mat has become useful again. It still looks new.I have the mat with the dyed/graduated blue colour. I love that it looks slightly different from other mats. I have never tried the more expensive yoga mats, so can't compare it to those. But for beginners, this is perfectly fine.

Perfect mat at a good price
This yoga mat is lovely for the price. I have bought many different yoga mats over the years and some of them have been rather expensive but I don't think that any of them have been any better than this one. I know it's possible to end up with something sub-standard when you buy a cheap yoga mat but this one does not feel cheap at all. It has a good texture, isn't too slippy and has a nice thickness to it - just enough to avoid my tailbone from hurting on the floor doing a sit up but not too thick that it feels like too much. It also has a lovely colour to it.I intend to buy another one of these in the near future just to have a spare.The only thing I would say is to roll it up when not using it if you have cats.. One of mine decided to attack the mat and took a few little chunks out of it. :)

slippery
I brought this mat in Nov 18 and only used it in February 19. I had an accident whilst while complete Sun Salutions and damage my should. I did think it could be the mat at the time but I did slip but put it down to Sweet. Used it again having healed and found that I was slipping In a number of moves.I cannot recommend this mat because I find it is slippery and I feel unsafe on it

Had since 2012. Good entry level mat, stands the test of time.
I bought this mat in 2012 and I've been practicing weekly on and off over those years. This is an excellent beginner mat. It's slippery when you first get it, you must wash it with washing up liquid and shower it. Then it's fine. It's not the most grippy but as a light user it's held up well. It's now looking worn and has becoming slippery through use. It's time to upgrade and I've gone for a liforme. This mat has been perfect for what I've needed though and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it if you're getting into yoga.

Favourite yoga matt
This is my favourite yoga mat.It is firm enough that it says put on the ground for downward dog - compared to other mats that can stretch and make you worry that your feet and hands with slide apart, dumping you on the floor.It's soft enough that it's possible to lie on it and not have your spine poke the floor and hurt the skin on your back.This is a good mat, and I would recommend it to others for yoga.

Everything I wanted it to be
Love the colour. I have wood veneer floor so I was concerned about it slipping. Not a chance of that. No nasty smell from it. Think enough to be comfortable with being tlso thick to get in the way. No big logos on. Just small fabric badge in corner. Machine washable. And a price that isn't self indulgant. Very pleased indeed. Oh and it came fast by royal mail well packaged. 😁

Ich habe diese Matte von einer Freundin, die ein Yoga-Studio betreibt, empfohlen bekommen.Meine Anforderungen an eine Yogamatte:1. sie soll liegenbleiben und sich nicht an den Enden ständig wieder aufrollen2. sie soll nicht verrutschen3. sie soll ausreichend hoch und weich sein, dass man nicht gleich auf den harten Boden durchdrücktund, auch wichtig:4. nicht ausdünsten5. Prodotto buono ma...
Ne ho uno sempre della stessa marca ma di 4mm comprato oltre un anno fa, il prodotto è buono e anche robusto, ma da nuovo è sigillato dentro a un plastica trasparente, una volta aperto emette un fortissimo odore di sintetico, di plastica, bisogna metterlo all' aria per parecchio tempo prima di eliminarlo... stesso difetto su entrambi.

schön dicke, rutschfeste Yogamatte
Habe diese Matte bestellt, da mir bei 4 mm dicken Matten immer die Knie und Rückenwirbel wehgetan haben. Davon bei dieser Matte keine Spur.Riecht auch nicht arg schlimm nach plastik, das ist nach einer Nacht lang durchlüften schnell verflogen.Heute die Matte bei sommerlichen Temperaturen ausprobiert und bin trotz schwitziger Hände nicht ins Rutschen gekommen :)Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Pas assez anti-dérapant pour l'ashtanga
J'ai ce même tapis en rouge-orangé (acheté il y a un peu plus d'un an).Niveau confort, pas de souci, l'épaisseur garantit un peu plus d'amorti que les tapis de yoga de 4 mm.Il est bien anti-dérapant au sol, aucun problème avec ça non plus.En revanche, il est glissant au contact de la peau, en particulier au niveau des mains dès qu'on a un peu transpiré (ce qui arrive vite avec des yogas un peu actifs). C'est extrêmement désagréable d'être en downward dog et de se sentir glisser inexorablement vers l'avant !!==> Très bon tapis pour les yogas plus statiques mais à oublier si on pratique l'Ashtanga ou si on transpire facilement des mains ou des pieds.Usure : le caoutchouc s'arrache par petits bouts aux endroits de frottement (orteils +++) après environ 6 mois il n'est plus du tout impeccable.
