Boardworks Triton | Recreational Stand Up Paddleboard | Bombshell Epoxy Hardboard

The media could not be loaded.  I received this board on 3/12, (later than advertised) and the box was pretty beat up with holes and tears from shipping, the board itself was undamaged being well protected inside for the most part.Unfortunately, the fin has a manufacturing defect and will not stay in place, it just slides around in the fin box; (see video) it’s their new FCS II Connect system which doesn’t require tools to install. It’s supposed to lock into place when pushed down. Unusable.I wrote to the company the same day asking for a replacement fin and they still have not replied nearly a week later. I had to buy a new fin from a different company.The board itself seems well made, is light weight and looks good. I’d have rated it higher if the fin worked. Seems like Boardworks would do the right thing and at least respond to this kind of issue with their products. I was unable to use it when I got it after spending over $1000. all in.If they ever get back to me and take care of it, I’ll revisit this review.UPDATE 3/21/21:I received a new fin in the mail along with some rubber shims.I tried installing the new fin and it still slid but not as bad so I used the rubber shims and that kept it in place. I guess it’ll hold it as long as the rubber holds out. I never did get an email from the company about it but I have to give them credit for doing the right thing. Seems like a great board but I’ll be keeping an extra fin that screws in just in case.

Product arrived broken like someone fixed it and then shipped it . Have tried to contact vendor but their are not answering my calls. Expensive product to have received broken and then shipped.
