Counting Creatures

This is the most beautiful book with wonderful illustrations that the preschool children enjoyed listening to.However as a practitioner it is slightly frustrating that the numbers go from 1 to 10 and then jump to 15, 20, and 25!

The illustrations in this book are stunning. It will help my child with counting and the correct names for baby animals. Feels all the more special that it’s hardback. Really impressed and pleased; only thing is, I have to put it away until Christmas now!

Every page gets a WOWAbsolute feast for the eyes, also a little challenge for children to spot the flaps, they are so well hidden!Bought this after getting Sharon King-Chai's Starbird, her illustration skills are just out of this world.Just love it when i find books that marvel both child and parent.Lovely rhythm to the text in Julia Donaldson's way.Bought for my 1 year old, will buy many more for gifts for other children. :)

Bought this as a Christmas gift for a book-loving 2 year old, who absolutely loves it. The illustrations are stunning which, combined with the different shaped flaps on each page, make it very engaging.

This book is gorgeous - really nice artwork for toddler to look at - a nice change from more cartoon-like illustrations in a lot of books for the young age group. But very engaging for my toddler who is particularly interested in baby animals and where they live.

I bought this book because I wanted a present for a young child, and I wanted a counting book. Anything written by its author Julia Donaldson is a certain hit for children of any age from one to one hundred and one. Just buy it!
