100 Brushed Chrome Fountain Pen with Chrome Trim and Fine Nib

From the moment I opened the package I knew this was one great experience. The sober, elegant gift box exudes elegance and simplicity. The pen itself is stark beauty. I chosed the chrome trim because already own a ball point and mechanical pencil and wanted to match the trio. The fine nib for a moment I was concerned but not needed to be. The smoothness of the writting is fantastic. Barely touching the surface of the paper (better on high quality paper but even on cheap mill notebooks would do) the pen glides frictionless. Highly recommended for a tasteful gift without spending a whole lot.

I have purchased much more expensive fountain pens and I was hesitant about getting one wtih a fine nib (they often are "scratchy". This pen is amazing! Smooth and no "skipping" as I write. Performance is equal to the most expensive pens I own. I am very happy with this purchase!

It's a nice pen for $20 -- elegant and comfortable. But the nib is only so-so and is no better than a good disposable rollerball. I'm just learning about fountain pens and was excited to find this highly rated pen at a great price! And it is a nice pen. It really is. But the thing I like (so far) about fountain pens is the subtle variation in ink flow and line width that you get as you apply different pressures and line angles. With this nib, I don't see that subtle variation. Indeed, the lines look almost exactly like the ones I get from a disposable Pilot Precise V5. I'll probably give this one away to a fountain pen user who wants a no-fuss daily writer or who wants to lend it to curious friends :-)

Some stole my previous Sheaffer fountain pen and it took me a while to get one similar to the old one. I found this one and, the moment I placed the black ink cartridge inside, I knew I would love it. It has an excellent build and it looks very classic and elegant. It comes in a discreet box with black and blue ink cartridges and, to my surprise, it also comes with a pen converter.

I have purchased fountain pens of all sorts, from Jinhaos to Montblancs. This pen writes as smoothly as some of my more expensive ones. It’s elegant looking without paying the price of of a higher end pen. Some might consider the grip a bit slippery but it feels fine to me.

It's been a while since I last purchased a fountain pen, but this one, I love it. I like the shape, form, and it writes very well.

The body of the pen is great, the issue lies in the non-reusable ink slot. The whole point of using a fountain pen is to have a reusable ink refill that can be filled with an ink pot! That’s where this pen disappoints.

I used a cartridge fountain pen in grade school in the 1950s. I didn't realize they were still making them. I had to have one. I'm very happy with it.

Not satisfied the product at all. In product description it mentioned converter is included. Received the product without converter. Mislead the product description. Recommend not to buy

Beautiful finish, comfortable grip, nice gift box. It was an Amazon warehouse deal product, so the black cartridge was empty and there was ink all over the nib section. A bit surprising because it didn't seem that it had been properly cleaned after it was returned. So I did that part myself and inserted the blue ink cartridge, cleaned it, and started writing. Surprisingly smooth, not scratchy at all. Nice weight, balanced. Love it!
