AirFit F20 and AirFit F30 QuietAir Elbow

This is the real thing. Many of the ones I viewed had several "pinholes" on the sides, that I was afraid would leak air, however this is just like the one I had, and works great.

This is pretty much OEM quality! Fits, doesn't fall off, rotates 360 as well as up/down. Perfect! I tried another brand for around $9 and it just would not stay connected, the slightest movement and it would pop off. I'll definitely save this in my favorite's list and order more! Always, Always, Always pay the extra for ResMed!

I needed a replacement QuietAir elbow for my ResMed full face mask and this one appears to be the real deal. I use a ResMed AirSense 10 with an AirFit F20 / AirTouch F20, and it fits and functions the same as my original QuietAir elbow. I was a little nervous because some reviews mention receiving an elbow that looks different than the product photo, which made me worry about third-party replacements. There are a lot of sellers for these, so I suspect that contributes to the mixed experiences. I picked a highly rated Prime seller at the time I ordered (mine was Jack Dalton, Inc.). What I checked: • Fit: snaps into the F20 mask frame correctly and the quick-release connection to the hose is solid • Function: swivel rotates smoothly and the QuietAir diffuser vent behaves as expected (quieter exhaust, less “air blast”) • Look/finish: molding and overall build quality match what I expect from a ResMed part Bottom line: if you’re replacing a worn/lost QuietAir elbow for an AirFit/AirTouch F20 setup, this one looks and performs like a genuine ResMed part.

Of the various CPAP elbows I've tried, this is the best. It fits well and stays quiet--most of the time. However, I clean it weekly along with the hose. After cleaning (which I do in the morning), the elbow makes noise that night. The only way to stop that is to run the machine through its leakage test at high pressure. I let the whole test run, less than three minutes. The test is quite noisy. When the test ends and the pressure lowers, the elbow quiets down. I think water from the cleaning process gets into the donut-shaped part (perhaps there's a fabric filter in there?) and the elbow will make noise until it's thoroughly dried after cleaning. Maybe I need two of them, and alternate them every week so that I'm using one while the other's drying.

This piece is affordable and prefect for my cpap. And I got it in the mail super fast.

The elbow I received was not what was pictured on the listing and it leaks like crazy. I went with the Resmed OEM elbow after reading reviews and when I received it, it is not the same elbow as what is pictured in this listing. It blows air out like crazy, unlike my old Resmed elbow. My wife told me she noticed it was blowing cold air on her when I switched to the new elbow. I requested a replacement, if Resmed sends to elbow in the picture that doesn't leak like crazy and blow air all over my wife, I'll put this up to 5 stars, but for now, I'm back to my old elbow as this new one is garbage.
