I'm immunocompromised so I'll be wearing masks not just while C-19 still rages, but long afterwards. Was getting annoyed about my ears getting bent or irritated & this is a perfect solution.The stretch is not huge (you'll be able to wear most masks around your neck, but not as a necklace), but that's not the purpose. These straps are very easy to hook on to the mask & place them at your preferred height w/o bending your ears & keeping the mask firmly in place (the ONLY way they're effective). It's also easy to move your mask on & off your nose/mouth by touching only the front. My office seating is usually alone, so I don't need to be masked permanently.Highly rec'd for comfort & safety.

These extenders fit both paper and cloth masks, holding the mask in place for a snug, safe fit. I wear glasses and hearing aids, so things get crowded behind my ears! You can also lower the mask, folding it to protect the inside, when eating, drinking or driving. I've ordered more and given several to friends who were struggling with loose fitting masks or sore ears. They are especially good for the gym and wash up nicely with my masks in a net bag in cold water. I will likely be buying more.

Item is well made. The Jury is still out. Strap doesn't stay on the back of my head, so I wear it low down on my neck. When leaving a store, I just pull my mask down under my chin and pull it up again when needed. Convenient and comfortable.

They work great and are comfortable. The only issues is the black rubs off on white dress shirt. Have washed extenders many times but color still turns the neck of shirt black. Wish they came in white!

I work for a battery Mfg. and have worked all through the pandemic. I pick up and put down heavy batteries 8 hours a day, 6 days a week with a mask on. It is hot, and uncomfortable. I used an old cuff bracelet to connect the straps behind my neck, cause over my ears gave me a headache. It was tight on my face, but I dealt with it. I saw your straps, and decided to give it a shot. I should have done this 6 months ago!! The straps make my work day a hell of a lot more bearable. I encourage anybody who is still out there working and wearing a mask, buy this product! You will not regret it!!

What a great solution. I checked a number of the different straps out there and this one had hooks that wouldn't easily fall off. Mask straps still can fall off but many of the other designs required tension to keep the extender with the mask. I liked these so much I bought a second set of five. At the wide end, I can use masks that don't fit my larger head and on the small side, it allows my 10yo to use adult masks easily. A nice side effect is that you don't have to keep the original mask straps over your ears. There is enough adjustment that it allows me to wear my mask with the extender on the bottom of head/top of neck, making the masks MUCH more comfortable to wear.

These are a godsend. With all of the mask requirements today, those who wear glasses AND over-the-ear hearing aids, anything else hanging on your ears is just another burden and inconvenience. These strap take the pressure off your ears and wearing a mask is much less of a hassle. Also, when removing the mask, you are less likely to whip your hearing aids off over your ears and lose them in a public place. Best thing I have bought on Amazon for ages.

Since we were going back to school and to the office, I was looking for mask extenders to ease the ears from the pain of having the mask all day.We tried those plastic ones that have different buckles to strap on, but even on the farthest buckles the mask felt too tight.What I liked about this straps is that they come in different sizes, they all are adjustable and they stretch.So there's a really really high probability one of those will fit you exactly like you want.For us we found one that my kid was comfortable with, and I also found one size that was comfortable to use with my mask.The only issue I have and that's why it doesn't have 5 stars, is the design makes it hard to put it on/off with one hand. You have to use both hands to strap the mask and sometimes you want to take it off and on and you can't do it quickly.But the benefits definitely outweighs the cons, so I highly recommend it.

Honestly this was my best mask-related purchase and I'm so relieved that I bought these before going on a trip where I was masking for several hours daily, it would have been so much more troublesome without them.It makes them so much more comfortable + you can tighten them depending on the length of the ear straps, so the seal is a lot better. Since it's only one strap and it's smooth instead of elasticky it doesn't mess up your hair too much and it's much easier to take on and off compared to the dual-strap N95s, but you still get the increased security compared to using the ear straps. Also ear straps start hurting for me after about 2 hours which is why I got these knowing I'd have to be masking for longer.I suppose some people may have trouble since it's only one strap you need to find an angle where it doesn't slip off, but for me this wasn't too difficult and it sits easily.Because it's not super stretchy (it relies on the ear strap elastic + a strap adjuster), if you want to take it off to walk outside the loop is a convenient size to have it hang around your neck without bouncing around too much and without the inside directly rubbing up against the dirty part of your neck. Since it's a loop I can also clip it to my bag strap if I am sitting outside for a long time and want to take it off, without having to touch it too much or dig around for a paper bag to store it in.I have seen/owned some different styles of ear-saver strap holder and this one is just way more convenient all around, would recommend this type to anyone. Personally the quality seemed good; the clips are coated metal, not plastic, so they wont snap easily, and it's basically like an adjustable bra strap.

I originally bought these to be able to have a mask around my neck and put it on my face as needed. These do quite a good job at that. However, I also did want to be able to tighten it enough to relieve the mask pressure on my ears. Unfortunately, these cannot do that, and it is difficult to tighten them while your mask is on when you have a lot of hair. I have also had these disconnect from one side of the mask while wearing it and have to get it back on while wearing my mask which can take some time. Overall, these are a good product, what I have mentioned above is just something to keep in mind.

If you hate having your ears hurt when wearing a face covering for a long time these are a great solution.However it can be a struggle trying to get the loops in. If you have a larger head size i wouldn't recommend as they don't adjust that far, otherwise they do the job.
