The scent of the candle & candle in general seems to be made of good quality materials. Similar to soy based candles in how it looks & burns. Also has a nice wood wick that is hard to light at times. However, it burns evenly, has lasted quite some time already, & is overall nicely presented. The hidden gift was well wrapped & exciting to finally reach! The ring is very cute & was a super sweet Christmas gift to me from my 12 year daughter. What else can I say, it’s costume jewelry.... But it doesn’t look too cheap to wear. This isn’t a purchase I would recommend from an adult to another adult. Rather best for a tween girl or kids to mom. The ring does run a bit small though. She ordered my correct size (6), but I cannot get this ring over my knuckle. Makes me sad because I wanted to be able to wear it so my daughter thinks that I love it. And the ring that I received is not a pinky ring type of ring. That said, I’m going to start wearing it as a pinky ring to show my appreciation to my sweet girl.

The media could not be loaded.  Edited to add: Finally got the ring out by using a wax warmer and it's very pretty. It fit well and didn't turn my finger green either. Also, customer service was very helpful and kind, so I will be trying another candle soon. Maybe I just got a dud. Added another two stars because of customer service and ring quality.Haven't reached the ring yet, but this candle struggles to stay lit. Might end up putting it on a wax warmer instead of burning it.

Like Agatha, I love a mystery. These are fun, and the sweet smell is a bonus!

I love the smell of this candle and the concept of the surprise ring in it. However I'm having issues with the candle staying lit, ive had to re-light it several times and on separate days of burning it, which is frustrating.

This was a really fun gift for my daughter… We loved burning it to find out what kind of a prize she got it was a beautiful ring, and it was worth more than what I paid for the candle. Awesome.

I have purchased many of these candles as gifts for people over the years. They’re really fun and people are always excited to see what the ring looks like and what the value of the ring is. The candles are of average quality. The scent isn’t usually very strong but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The rings themselves aren’t really worth much but they’re well made for the price. The big selling point is really just the mystery of what is hidden in the wax. It’s kind of like buying someone a lottery scratch card. But even if the ring isn’t worth much (and it never has been for anyone I’ve gifted them too) you still have a nice candle. So it’s win/win.

Purchased two of these candles for my wife and my sister for Christmas thinking it would be the small gift with great reward cause who doesn’t like candles much less the jewelry added on… turns out after the holidays and getting to light, we’ll attempt to light them they’re absolutely awful. Neither one will burn for no amount of time, and have to be relit continually to make absolutely no progress in burning any bit of the wax at this point I couldnt even tell you what the candle smells like cause it won’t stay lit that long, and one I could understand theirs a bad apple in every bunch… but two at the same time, I have to say that’s a poor reflection on a brand.

Wife was happy with this present and ring fits her. Very good quality candle and smells good!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I’m not a fan of the ring I got in the candle. I actually thought I selected one in particular but definitely didn’t get the one I selected. The candle burns slowly because of the wood wick which is nice but no real scent in particular. Not sure I would purchase again. Will stick with Charmed Aroma.
