A Great Reference For Genealogists Researching Early Middle Tennessee
Exactly as described; however I would like to see a similar sequel from 1790 to 1820; and another sequel on military land grants in early Davidson County to Revolutionary War Soldiers from North Carolina. The sources section is hard to understand. I would have preferred to have purchased this on Kindle which would have made excepts and source referencing easier.

This book has been referenced many time on ancestry. ...
This book has been referenced many time on ancestry.com for those early settlers in Tenn. Not a lot of details as to the families - but helps you put your ancestor in the region and if they where one of the signers of the Cumberland Compact.

The details are more that expected
The details of each inhabitant, that I was not expecting. Excellent. If you descend from these folks this is a must have book. If someone was entered in the D.A.R. It is mentioned

loved it
the author has compiled information on the early pioneers of the counties here. The Early settlements are not that easy to find plus those who were there at the time.
