I'm a hairdresser of 20 years I use professional scissors and should of known better.I bought these as a back up pair incase my scissors were not sterilised in time for next client. Due to the coronavirus it's advised to sterilise scissors for 15mins after each use I used these to trim a fringe. I then but them in diluted barbicide disinfectant Soloution following the instructions and they rusted and seased up not fit for purpose. Threw them away. Will teach me not to cheat on my 20 year old salon scissors.

The scissors were bought as I had to cut my fringe due to hairdresser being closed because of coronavirus. I needed sharp scissors and they are certainly that. I am happy with my purchase.

I got these with thinning scissors during the first lockdown due to the state of my hair without access to a hairdresser.I made a good job of the first cut and my partner was impressed. However, the professionals make it look so easy and I managed to snip my finger ends more than once by trying to immitate the way they hold the hair as they cut upwards into the hair. So it was a bit painful, but the outcome was good.If there's ever a complete breakdown of society, I can at least be confident that I'll be able to look after my own hair. Although admittedly that might be the least of my worries...

I haven’t tried them out yet. But, I’m a bit sceptical about how good they will be. Not as long as I was expecting and don’t feel that sharp.Hopefully once used, if they do the job, I’ll add another star.

For the price well worth it they do cut so all in all for cutting hair at home I recommend them
