Red Label Abrasives 2 X 72 Inch 120 Grit EdgeCore Ceramic Grinding Sanding Belts, 6 Pack

After pushing one belt to its limits by grinding the following blades: four 8 inch chefs knives, one 10 inch scimitar, two 6 inch petty knives and 6 small field knives I can safely say the 36 grit does better than the norton blaze and the shedders from combat. It out lasts and out performs both. The edges seem to hold up better and the ceramic grains seem to be adhered better. They track well and have a great value.

No complaints at all. For a reasonably-priced belt, it works very well. Used on carbon-steel (1084) and the belts chew through tempered or hardened steel with ease. Used the 60 and 120 so far, both are good. Will purchase again.

Good quality and long lasting

There are a few different brands of top level ceramic belts that all perform more or less the same. Red Label is in that group. If there is a sale or a deal, I'll grab them. They don't break. The last reasonably long. Of course, like all belts, a brand new one always feels better than even a slightly used belt, especially at 36 grit. Finding the transition point where you should switch belts to balance time over cost is the trick

I use these for knifemaking and they work amazing.

Great value for these 2x72 grinding belts. I use them for knife making and they seem to be just about as good as the 3M Cubitron belts I was buying, but they cost a lot less. I will be buying these again when I need more belts.
