Shu: Them Boys, Book 3

I enjoyed reading this novella series and seeing the growth of the Mitchell men. I laughed and cried and wanted the pain that all three experienced to be eased so badly and I was happy they found it. The series is a great reminder to never judge a book by its cover. You never know what people are going thru or why they turned out the way they do.

IDK what to say about their moms, like I'm just at a loss for words with this lady. I really enjoyed all of the brothers but Jah! *sighs* smh Jah is the one!Oh yeah! In this final installment of the Mitchell Brothers - Them Boys series, we get to know Shu, the middle brother. The only word for this story is FIRE. The relationship between Shu and Denver happens quickly, and I was SO there for it. The romance, the sex, the conversation, the blending of these two broken people, was written SO beautifully. I not only recommend this book, but I also highly recommend the series.

Shu Mitchell. Shu is most definitely the strong, silent type. The middle child, often overlooked like middle children tend to be, and thus able to move more quietly. He works himself hard enough to be able to sleep, but still can't unless he's watching over his abusive father. He meets Denver Hayes, younger woman, broken in her own kind of way and connects to the pain he sees in her. First through physical attraction, then through the need to protect her.Shu was the most intense of the three, hardly smiling or laughing, barely even raising his voice. But Denver makes him want to open up. It was so heart wrenching. Her being so much younger threw me at first, but I like the way she had a playful side and brought that out in Shu.I liked this so much. The raw honesty about painful things, the passion and the fierce love, especially between brothers.

This was by far my favorite Mitchell brother's novel! Shu and Denver were perfect for one another! This one was filled with so many emotions! Alexandria dealt with real life issues, past hurt, hatred for the abuse these men endured as children while they never felt protected by their mother. What Denver endured while her mother turned a deaf ear was nauseating! Shu loved her enough to exact the ultimate payback on Burton! Everything about this novel was excellent! Great ending to Them Mitchell Boys!

What a wonderful Book. I am looking forward to reading more stories from this author. I love the writing style of her books. I recommend reading the prequel. Them boys Set Shu Jah are very good books.

Denver and Shu are one of my favorite couples by Alexandria House. They are just so endearing and I felt connected to their story so much.I am surprised that I loved this story as I am not a fan of short stories. This one was developed well and the writing was tight.Denver and Shu were both so likable and their pairing felt like their universes finally gave them a break and something great to make up for some rough childhood issues.The narrators were spot on and they delivered this emotional storyline with just the right touch of drama and sensuality.Finally some justice was served for the Mitchell boys.

The most interesting and incredible series of books I’ve ever read. Not your typical romance books about them Mitchell boyz and the women in their lives. It was raw, uncomfortable, painful, shocking and lovingly sexy at the same time. Thank you Alexandria House.

I loved the story between Shu and Denver . That book was so good . The author made such a good job with the emotions of Shu his past , the way that he has to live . He was such a mystery regarding Set and Jah . I would recommend this série 100% . I am kind of sad that it’s finish .
