MPD DigitalI MPD-400 PVC Superflex Coax Cable I PL259 UHF Male Connectors I Ultra Low Loss for Ham, VHF, RF, CB Radio I Made in The USA I White, 40 Feet

I installed a 35' length of this cable two years ago to connect to my rooftop ham radio antenna. It is on a side of the house that gets blasted by the sun for up to 12 hours a day. I love the fact that it is white because that helps it reflect heat. The cable is flexible enough for reasonable bending, but certainly not like a thin piece of wire. It works perfectly for me.I have had nothing but reports of "full quieting" on my signal transmissions to repeaters that are 40 miles away, and that is while using my cheap Baofeng ham radio! It is rated at 50 ohms and signal loss is super low. So far it has passed my weather, durability, and performance tests. Perhaps in 10 years I will need to replace it, but it has been an excellent choice for me.

Needed a low-loss patch cable to replace an aging coax jumper. Despite the 'Superflex' name it still is quite stiff but can be molded as needed. Works well.

I did my baseline tests with my existing new but cheap 6' RG-58/U cable. I then swapped out the cable and replaced it with the 6' MPD400 cable and repeated my measurements. I found an improvement of approximately .3 dBm and a slight S/N improvement. I am sure the good quality connectors helped but the change for this short run was enough that I will be ordering a longer length out to the Antenna. The cable is beefy with high quality connectors. It was assembled by people who know what they are doing.

This is great cable with a great warranty. Times Microwave is the ultimate cable maker BUT MPD 400 UF "marine" is an almost a tie with it for quality.Go ahead, spend the extra $$$. I couldn't believe the difference between this and the 8x I thought was good.I noticed the sheer improvement IMMEADIATELY on 2-meter without having to pull out " The Meters".I know this. My Yaesu 2980r is running cooler at high power ( 80 watts, stock configuration) than before

Absolutely superior products. Overkill quality that will last as long as you do. There customer service is amazing; you will not be disappointed with this product or company. The cable is as as flexible as they describe but not for extremely tight corners but with that level of quality and shielding that shouldn’t surprise anyone.Besides if a corner is that tight you should probably find a better place to install it no matter what kind of cable you’re using.I also love the fact that it’s Made in the USA and meets the level of quality expected with that label instead of buying crap products made in China and Mexico or some sweatshop in some country no one has ever heard ofIn short I’d stamp my name on this product and it’s worth every penny there asking for

I have purchased many MPD cables. Both indoors and fully weatherproofed outdoors, there is an absurdly high failure rate to their connectors. Most work great but especially these past few months I have found myself needing to replace connector ends to put these cables back in reliable service. First sign is a weird SWR reading and giggling the connector restores it... even though it is fully screwed on. Not good.MPD does so many things right, perhaps they would consider upping the quality of their connectors.

This cable is on the south side of the house, so it's in the sun all day. I needed something fairly lossless and very durable so that I could mount a dipole antenna and run a rig in my basement office. This cable worked perfectly. This is very well built, the PL259 ends were flush, seemed like good material, and everything actually worked the first time I booted up the radio. A little pricey, but worth every penny! Thanks.
