It does work......
Product does work. Bugs are much easier to remove. It is simple to apply. Only issue I have with it, is it takes a lot of product to treat the vehicle and it has to be reapplied often. I can see using a gallon each spring/ summer. Going to try other products and compare.

Works great while it lasts
This stuff actually works. I drive across country frequently and always hate dealing with the ridiculous amount of dead bugs plastered to the front of my jeep. I tried this before my last drive (almost across the whole country from east to west during summer) and it actually worked. I checked on what was going on up front when stopping for gas and while there were still plenty of bugs stuck to my grill/bumper it seemed like you could wipe them off pretty easily. I just did a small test and left the majority alone to see how it held up when I got to my destination. I didn't get to wait that long because t drove through a huge midwest rainstorm the next day and it effectively washed everything away, so I can tell you this stuff works. The only downside was that after the rainstorm the bug barrier was also washed away and the bugs that hit my car afterwards were baked on like they usually are. I was probably overzealous when I applied it the first time and actually used the entire bottle on one application (because I hate dealing with the bug so much) so I didn't have any leftover to try a second application after the rain. I don't know if using less product would have had the same result, so if not it might be kind of expensive for one application but I can not attest to that and am guessing that I just used way too much. The product didn't claim to last through thunderstorms (and the one I drove through was pretty epic) and I will be using it again, so I'll give it five stars.

tried it once... it helps but you still have to scrub the bugs away, spraying with water is not enough. It does make it easier to wipe the bugs off though.

It's almost like car wax on steroids in regards to protection - car wax however will dry a bit so you can buff it out. This stuff seems to stay a little more moist/greasy (in a good way)... I suspect this is what allows the bugs to "slide" off easier. Overall, it is a very good product and does provide that heavy duty protection without making any obvious smears or smudge marks (I have a black car and very picky about it's appearance). Per other reviews, I was a bit worried that it would wash off quickly, however I did notice there was still a small decent amount of product on my clear coat even after 2 touch-less car washes and a thunderstorm (how I could tell was not by just looking at it, but by feeling and wiping the area with a micro-fiber). As for the bugs themselves, it appeared as though they would ricochet off instead of smashing or splattering, especially on curved areas like your side view mirrors and the corners of your bumper. The very front of the bumper where there's direct impact would occasionally have a bug stick, but could easily be wiped off, nor did it have as big of an acidic splatter as before I applied the product. Overall, if you apply some good wax and top it off with this, you will be good to go for your cars clear-coat protection against those acidic bug guts!

Does the job
Great product, as long as you are realistic in your expectations. I drive from San Diego county to Blythe, CA, (just on the Colorado river) and back, every week. I drive through a fair amount of farmland, in a new car. Tones of bugs, just covered every time. The car basically sits in a parking lot for four days at a time, baking in the desert sun. Well over 100 degrees 5 months or more. Then the drive back. I don't get a chance to wash the car until day 5 or 6. This is not as instructed on the product, but it is life. I can tell you it is MUCH easier to wash the bugs off using this product. NO they do not just wash off with a hose (realistic expectations) but letting the front of the car stay wet an soapy for a few minutes, 80-90% come off with a soft pole brush, the others with One of those microfiber cloths with the plastic mesh on one side. Much much easier and faster with this product.

Does not work
This product does not do what it claims. You still have to scrub the bugs off. What a waste of time and money.

Good Riddance to Lovebugs!
Dr. Beasley's is just what this patient needed! Lovebugs have taken over East Texas and are such a nuisance on my yellow Camaro. I have heard that they will even cause etching of the paint if they are not removed immediately. I washed my car, sprayed on Dr. Beasley's and the bugs wipe off so easily. No more toil, time and agony over lovebugs. Now, my husband will cover his truck with Dr. Beasley's before vacation to build a barrier against all those pesky bugs. It goes on so easily and looks like I just waxed my car. I'm so glad I found Dr. Beasley's before it was too late and the nasty things ruined my paint.

Did the bugs get repelled?
Love bugs are hard to deflect but it did a better job than many other products. Made bugs easier to remove.
