A very nice carving set. The knife is very sharp and carves my meats easily. The fork is very convenient to use while carving a bird or roast. Very well made and solid. The brown color is a rich looking wood with a very nice finish. Worth the price.

These are great for the price, nicer than I thought they would be, very sharp. All my other knives are Bob Kramer, so this is a huge compliment

I recently purchased this set in anticipation of Thanksgiving, based on its price point and the reviews. I normally use Shun knives for cooking but since I would only use a carving set a few times a year, didn't want to spend $150+ one one. This is a high-quality set that is very fairly priced and looks very nice. I downgrade it slightly because the box is rather insubstantial, and the lost-in-translation name means it isn't something one could give as a gift. Otherwise, buy without hesitation!

Great for the price! The blade was sharp enough and the handles were comfortable and still allowed for a sturdy grip. Love the color of the wood and the feel. Highly recommend!

I purchased this set almost a year ago. I have used it on 4 occasions. I have been disappointed every time I have used it. It is a struggle to carve the easiest of meats. Carving turkey breast the meat tore on every cut. When serving a prime rib I had to struggle to slice evenly. On the positive side, it is packaged in an attractive and usable case. As has been said many times, you get what you pay for. It isn't a horrid knife but it isn't a good knife either.

High quality set. Nice dark wood! Gave it 4 stars because I expected a better storage case
