This book is FULL of interesting photos of the number one tiki destination in America. I had my works on consignment in their shop for some time, so I made numerous visits to the Mai-Kai and fell in love with the magic the first time I walked through the door. Mr. Glazner captures that magic in his book. I am so glad that he has taken the effort to put this historical walk through the Mai-Kai together. With the recent loss of Don's historical location (though it will get a reboot in a new place), it is even more imperative that historians put together great records like this of the iconic tiki palaces that are disappearing too fast.

Live in Fort Lauderdale and have been going to this place for more than 30 years. Still love each time I go through the door! It transports you, to me, back to younger days and those great memories. It also transports you to another place in time. Many a great nights spilling out this Tiki palace. This book is an amazing capture of mid-century world of Tiki lifestyle. Don't hesitate to own!
