Anyone looking for a charming and engaging adventure game for their Nintendo Switch
I recently picked up Ary and the Secret of Seasons for my Nintendo Switch, and I have to say, I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience. The game's story follows Ary, a young girl who has the power to control the seasons, as she sets out on a quest to restore balance to her world. The gameplay is a combination of puzzle-solving, exploration, and combat, and I found myself getting lost in the beautiful and immersive world that the developers have created. The game's graphics are stunning, with vibrant colors and detailed character models that really bring the world to life. The music is also a standout feature, with a score that perfectly matches the game's whimsical and adventurous tone.I found the puzzles to be challenging but not frustrating, and the combat mechanics were intuitive and fun to master. The game also has a nice variety of side quests and collectibles to discover, which kept me engaged and motivated to explore every nook and cranny of the game's world.Overall, I would highly recommend Ary and the Secret of Seasons to anyone looking for a charming and engaging adventure game for their Nintendo Switch. The combination of beautiful graphics, immersive gameplay, and a compelling story make this a game that is definitely worth checking out.

nothing Earth-shaking, but I like it!
Judging from the average star rating for this game (based on the times I noticed it), the game doesn't seem to be too popular for whatever reason(s), but *I* like it so far (haven't finished it yet). I think it's good from what I've played of it (I think I'm a pretty good ways into it). The play control is really good, at least in my opinion. There is a lot of humor, which I always appreciate it a game. As far as glitches, I've only encountered like one or two (that I recognized as being glitches) that seemed to be biggies (there was one that caused me to have to reload the game!). I can't exactly call it a glitch-fest by any means, at least not from my experience so far.I have to say that so far it hasn't exactly been what I would call really action-packed; there has been a very great deal of running around and doing quests, which usually consist of trying to find objects, people, and places in order to progress the story, though I don't think you HAVE to do ALL quests. The game kind of seems (at least to me) to be more about that type of stuff, than about battling enemies --- of which, by the way, there has not been very much variety, at least not in the "regular" ones (they're mostly hyenas!). There are a lot of collectable items, most if not all of which you don't seem to HAVE to collect. It's odd that regular enemy characters never seem leave "drops" on this game. You can also obtain money (which seems to always be in treasure chests) to buy things, like weapons, clothing, and skill/ability upgrades. I think the clothes are just aesthetic.Overall, this game may no be anything Earth-shaking, but I'm glad I bought it (so far, anyway; I'll most likely continue to like it!). It's rated "E 10+," so it probably wasn't meant to be too difficult, which so far it hasn't been, at least not on the "normal" setting (which is the only one I've played it on; I personally haven't found it to be TOO easy). It's probably too simplistic and not "actiony" enough (and maybe too easy on all settings; like I said, I've only played it on "normal") for hardcore gamers. But I'm not one of those, so I don't mind if it isn't really complicated or harrowing or hard. I'm also a fan of 3D platformer/action/adventure games, and there really haven't been too many of those for PS4 (or PS3, for that matter) that really appealed to me, so I'm glad to finally have another one that DOES!If it had been possible, I might have rated this game 3-and-a-half stars, as I think four whole ones may be a little overdone, but I'm liking the game too much to give it a really low rating (I think it's far better than a 1- or 2-star game!). Of course, these are just MY personal perceptions of the game!(I'll update this review if I come across anything else I feel should be pointed out, and/or if I decide I no longer like the game [which I really don't think is going to happen!])[Edit: I hadn't noticed before I wrote this review that the previous reviews had been for the Switch! And it seems the other ones that have appeared since then (as of the time of this edit) are as well! I only found out thanks to a comment to I received!]

Buggy Mess
I'm not one to write negative reviews, but this game is obviously an unfinished, unpolished, bug-ridden mess. I am surprised it was able to get through even a minimal amount of Nintendo's quality control and standards. This game was clearly rushed out the door and little to no testing. You will run into bug after bug, glitch after glitch, and crash after crash... and that's after you launch the game and then go grab a drink or something, because the load times are excessive.I had a lot of hopes for this game. Kudos to whoever handles their advertising and works on the trailers, because they definitely succeeded in making this game look infinitely better than it actually is. It has so much potential, and they could've released a gem if they would've spent another 6 months on bug fixing.I feel like an alpha tester trying to play this game, and am very disappointed. I'll list some of the bugs, but I guarantee if you play this game for more than 5 minutes, you will run into bugs/glitches/crashes. I'm trying to force my way through it and have struggled through 40% completion in the short bursts I can handle. This was not worth $30 whatsoever.- Controls are awkward, even after adjusting sensitivity, Ary jumps like she's on the moon and the numerous jumping puzzles are nothing but frustrating- Load times are excessively long, and the progress bar is inaccurate, often jumping backwards.- Crashes. The game will simply crash on you for no apparent reason.- Transitions to their numerous cut-scenes are jarring and can break the game. I've gotten stuck inside the cut-scene, able to move around but the camera is fixed so you have to restart the game.- Quests... are do disappointingly bugged. It's like they didn't even try to test these at all. Town after town, especially the town by the beach which is frozen over. Attempt any quest there and it will glitch out of order or lock up the game. And after you finish the main quest for that area, all the side quests you completed reset. I had to talk to the same people many times to get the game to recognize completion.I could go on, but it's not worth my time. One tip if you do attempt to play this game. When it does get to a state where you can't move on and you're stuck due to glitches... Save the game, and then load it again. That usually resets things to a state where you can at least resume playing. (If you're extremely patient)

Super fun!
Really fun game with a creative puzzle system centered around seasons... I'm enjoying it a ton... Great for Zelda fans!... I have had it crash only twice and I'm 50% or the way through so it has not impacted my enjoyment at all, also due to the save system you actually don't lose ground if it crashed

Great Game!
it's a little rough around the edges, there are a few bugs the development team will need to address before it gets 5 stars, however the game is really fun, full of puzzles, and for a small indie company they did a great job. it also sounds like they are working on fixing a lot of the bugs users are finding so hopefully they'll have it all smoothed out soon!
