Great seller! Amazing cd set!

I do enjoy some alt rock and heavy metal/rock tunes but many of these i must admit i never heard of.

Very well done box set with killer color booklet. I already owned 70% of these songs, but thought it was cool to have remastered as a mix cd. Lots of classics I did not own and have gotten me into some new Metal bands I missed in the day. Several classic bands/tracks left off, so I hope a Metal Box pt. 2 is on the way from Rhino.

If you are a true fan of the metal genre this box set is a must have.It starts with the origins of the movement with bands like Iron butterfly and 4 discs later concludes in the 90's with bands like Prong and the mighty Pantera.All eras are pretty much covered including hair metal,thrash metal,nwobhm,hard rock Etc.... The sound quality is awesome on all tracks.You need this set!!!

What a compilation! If you love metal...classic metal, you will love this. Incredible value! Groups I had forgotten. Songs I had not heard in 20? years. Even if you are a younger person, if you love classic rock, you will be thrilled to have this in your collection. I am in my early 50's. My friends and I are enjoying the music and the memories evoked.

This was a great gift. You truly have to be a metal fan to appreciate this. There is a few songs on this album that are well know to non-metal fans, but the artists and songs on here are great! A+ for awesomeness. And the case is freakin sweet too!!

I ordered this for my 15 year old son for Christmas. He saw it on "That Metal Show" and thought it was not only a great list of songs but a very cool box as well. I'm sure he will be impressed with both! Fast shipping and professionally packaged too!
