25-55mbs is an ambitious estimate. I am seeing average speeds of 10-18mbs for files over 500mb in size. For large clusters of jpegs or documents, 25-35mbs for write speeds, even using the USB C port which is faster than USB3.0.Similar Sandisk Extreme USBC flash drives get over 90mbs for write speeds, but, cost 4x as much per gig of storage.You can use this as a 1080p AVCHD working external drive, but for 4k and files that need over 35mbs read/write- I would pass- or be warned. realtime playback in FCP and Adobe Premiere will be stuttery.A good spare drive. Not great for media.

Product is great, used it to transfer files from my phone to my computer and vice versa and it works great and fast.

I hated having to try to pull down pictures from the Verizon cloud; very slow and timeconsuming. And emailing pics to myself was also time consuming. Put too many pics on one email and my email product would kick them as being dangerous. This little drive is outstanding. Plug one end into the phone port and download all my pics in a couple minutes. Then plug the other end into my computer's USB drive and copy all the pics from the flash drive to my pictures folder. OUTSTANDING! Can't wait to download additional vacation pics from my kids' phones as well.

This beauty is perfect for my needs! Having a Note 9, I needed a fast way to clean my files on my phone, and to save them at another location. This has a C type end for my phone, and a USB end to use on my laptop. I recommend this for anyone needing to transfer, save, and/or clean their phone files. Note to novices, this will NOT work with Iphones. Wrong end. Is perfect for my android phone!

I really needed a FAT32 formatted flash drive for work, and my other flash drive wouldn't reformat. I ordered this one because it would arrive the fastest for the best price and it worked like a charm. I love that it's Type-C/USB. Super convenient.

The dual connection ports is ideal for newer computers\smart phone data storage. I purchased the 64 GB and is more than enough for my storage needs. The removable caps are the biggest weakness of this item, have misplaced them several times and is problem to keep up with them.

Good for a cheap usb-c/usb flash drive. Definitely not the fastest but half the price of named brand.Don’t expect to keep these attached to your keys, the little loop for your keys is cheap plastic and broke within a few days.

This worked as expected for a while, then just stopped. I plugged it in one day to do a backup, and the computer didn't recognize it. Tried another machine, nothing.I bought this to use for backups of valuable data, but its not reliable.
