Amazon Basics Lightweight Pleated Bed Skirt, Queen, Light Grey, Solid

I debated what color skirt to get for my new bedding, as I wasn't confident I'd be able to find the exact same grayish teal as my accent pillow and throw. The quilt is slightly off white, and I knew an ivory skirt would look yellow. There is some khaki in my rug, so I went with this as the best neutral option. The taupe is a true taupe, darker and more grey than a traditional khaki, but works well with my colors. If you're trying to match a khaki scheme though, it may not. I would consider it a dark taupe. I've shown it in a photo with another true khaki skirt I had in a different size. It is exactly a 16in drop as described, and nice that the entire piece is made of the same fabric, rather than the thin, easily torn middle the old styles had. This is excellent quality and value. I put it in the dryer with a damp towel to dewrinkle and it came out great.

It is easy to wash. Fits the bed perfectly. The sewing does not come apart. It is sound very well around the corner. The color is what I expect.

I'm not a bed skirt connoisseur. I think I had a frilly bed skirt on my bed as a teen, but I've managed to make it into my 40s without purchasing one on my own. However, my husband bought a metal platform bed frame for my son's room, which was great because it has a lot of room underneath for storage containers but not so great because the metal legs look a bit cheap and you could see the plastic storage bins under the bed when you walked into the room. So, I decided that a bed skirt was needed.When I started shopping, I was happy to find that a more modern pleated look is available. I learned that I would need to measure to figure out what drop I would need. Then, I learned that you usually would measure from the top of the box spring to the floor, but since we are using a platform bed without a box spring, I needed to measure from the top of the base to the floor. There are some differing opinions on whether or not a bed skirt should touch the floor, but most recommendations seem to be within a half inch give or take and an inch at the most. Since I measured just a tad over 16", that narrowed my options down to 16" pleated bed skirts, and the Amazon Basics one offered the lowest price at the time.The bed skirt material is pretty thin, but the black color I purchased is not at all see through and does the job of covering up what is under the bed. After washing the bedskirt, it was relatively wrinkle free. But after use, it did get some wrinkles. Luckily, the black color does a pretty good job of camouflaging the wrinkles, and they aren't really noticeable unless you are looking closely. That works for me, but this might not be the right pick if you are looking for something more tailored and pressed looking.The hardest part was getting it on the bed. I managed to get the full size mattress into place alone, but I recommend having help if you can. I read some articles saying that a platform bed can cause some issues with the bed skirt slipping and tearing, but that hasn't been an issue after a week of use. I have only had to do a tiny bit of adjusting, which is much better than expected. I think having rubber pads between the frame and the bed skirt helps. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

I still had to remove the mattress to put this on which was tough for an older lady by herself. Make sure you measure the correct height because it was too long, the one I ordered (neglected to measure, my bad) but it will fit another platform bed I haven't put up yet. I'm going to keep it for the value and quality were perfect!

The fabric is nice and I love the color but it doesn’t stay on well. I wish it had Velcro to attach it to the legs

It's thin material, but it fits my Cal King well and falls down as expected. Color black is black. Does the trick to hide underneath bed.

Simple and clean lines. Washed up well. Not super durable. The color was off from what I needed but if it was right it would have been great. Single layer microfiber.

Overall, I think this product is good considering the price. It fits well and hangs nicely. I washed and dried in the dryer and it came out ready to use. I did not give it 5 stars because the material is thin and a bit translucent. You can see where the boxspring ends.

A quick iron on synthetic setting for the skirt and the bed skirt looks great. I was looking for a low cost bed skirt for our guest room. The fabric is a tiny bit sheer but not too much. You can see in the photo how it looks. I’m happy with the purchase.

En general es un buen producto, bonito y bien presentado, buen color y suave al tacto, el único detalle es que viene muy arrugado y es un poquito más grande, de ahí en fuera, todo está muy bien.

Very good quality cheap price

Reçu ce matin, j’ai cru à une erreur de livraison quand j’ai déballé le produit. Je ne sais même pas par où commencer. Le tissu est de très mauvaise qualité, il est trop léger et glisse. La mise en place du matelas sur le sommier une fois posé c’est koh lanta. Les dimensions ne sont pas bonnes ce qui fait que c’est toujours soit trop court soit trop long d’un côté. A un ou à plusieurs, il est quasi impossible de placer ce cache sommier sans perdre la raison. Et une fois posé, l’esthétique du résultat fait qu’on a tout enlevé de suite. Bref, si vous ne voulez pas que votre chambre ressemble à un hôtel de passe miteux, passez votre chemin et mettez le prix pour un tissus beaucoup plus qualitatif.
