2 3/4" 66-8 K frame works well if adjusted for extreme cant
I was so happy with the Bianchi 3S for my 1911 (except for extended thumb safety tiny issue), that I ordered one for my 2 3/4" 66-8 (both worn at 4 o'clock). At first I thought it was terrible... The belt loop positioned without cant puts the cylinder way too far up on the body and had potential to flop around and stick out considerably. Then, I figured I would cant it so that the cylinder was in line with the belt loop (this causes the cylinder to ride at the belt line and work with the body's shape). It worked great! The downside, is that if you don't like a 'significant' cant on your holster setup, this might not be the best option for you... at least for the shorter barreled revolvers. The 5" 1911 version did not need a significant cant to work well. One star deducted for 1. the aforementioned issue, 2. no black option (would have been nice to at least have a black belt loop option), and 3. one single belt loop flap means you have a thick area you have to work around your pant's belt loops. Not an issue for me with Levi's jeans belt loop placement and a 4 o'clock position. However, I have not yet worn it for long periods of time to test how well it stays at 4 o'clock when active.I'll mention that it also looks strange if you try to tuck your shirt in over it... I'm used to tuckable clips, but only wear this with a sweater and jacket anyway. As with any holster, make sure you use a proper, stiff, firearm belt, NOT a fashion belt.

Excellent fit for a 2" Taurus 606 (& S&W K-frames)
I was looking for an IWB holster for a 2" Taurus 606. Standard holster fitments don't usually mention the 6-shot .357 606, however. Information that a S&W Model 19 (K-frame) is about the exact size of the 606 helped me to choose this Bianchi 3S IWB holster for the 606. This 3S is a near-perfect fit for the Taurus 606: thumb snap fits perfectly, - no stretching needed, minimal wiggle, thumb snap opens easily when drawing. There's about 1" extra room beyond the end of the Taurus barrel, but that also protects the muzzle. The holster should work well with a 2-3" K-frame, too. I could even carry a 4" S&W Model 64 if I could live with the barrel protruding about 1" beyond the holster. A leather reinforcement at the top of the holster creates a sturdy opening that allows for easy re-holstering. The holster fits well at the 3-to-5 o'clock positions. I like the adjustable cant feature. The snaps on the mounting flap are easy to open for quick removal of the holster when you go into a post office, etc. Would buy it again and recommend it.

A design that has lasted
I bought my first 3S over 30 years ago, there's a reason the design has stayed available. For concealed carrying a revolver it's hard to beat. It's thin, has a small footprint and is adjustable for cant. A 3" K frame disappears with ease.

Not good for AIWB, okay for kidney carry
Recently went back to carrying my 66-2, 2.75โ on a trip to Alaska. The holster was pretty comfortable for kidney carry tilted aggressively forward, but rides too high for appendix carry, and tends to want to tip out because there isnโt enough gun below the waistband. Changing the draw angle drastically changes the ride height, because the belt loop is pushed back to where the trigger guard is. The thumb break retention works well but does tend to snag the hammer. Also notable that it would be difficult to use an extended cylinder release of the hogue type due to the thumb break, if even possible.

Rides High!
Excellent construction; nice leather. As others have noted the holster does not sit low on the belt. Might be better on the 4-5 inch; but the grips on a snubby tend to print. Overall good value for the money.

Classic and durable
I have used Bianchi holsters for over 40 years. I still have my first Bianchi Pistol Pocket from the early 80s and I use it to this day.I was pleasantly surprised to find the same quality and attention to detail in this holster as my old one. This holster fits like a glove. My 3 inch model 65 went in like it was a baby cuddling in a blanket. The thumb-snap takes a little breaking in, but that's normal on this type of holster. This new holster has an adjustable cant, which my old holster didn't have. I'm still not sure that it's necessary, but I'm not complaining about it.If you want a holster that will last a lifetime and perform flawlessly, this is it.Take it from someone who has carried everyday for many years, this holster has what it takes. Whether you're a detective or a legally armed citizen, this holster will do the job for a lifetime.

Fits a Ruger Speed Six
Got one for my medium frame Ruger Speed Six. Fit is near perfect. There was no need to break in the holster. Fit and finish is excellent. Leather is great quality. I was worried if I would have issues with the rentention snap going over the hammer but it snaps over with no issue. The hammer is seated right up against the inside of the strap and it buttons on and off very well. A bit of wiggle room where the cylinder eject is but not enough to get to the trigger or to move the hammer. The gun sits snug in the holster even when not buttoned down. Easy to draw and reholster. Very comfortable to wear all day and the belt loop makes it easy to take on and off with the with dual rentention button snaps. You can rotate the cant for furthermore comfort as well. Great quality product.

Nice holster but not for snubbies.
The belt slot needs to be mounted higher up on the holster. A S&W model 19 2 1/2" barrel balances at the cylinder and this holster rides somewhat high for a IWB holster so it tends to fall forward and out of the pants because most of the revolver's weight is above the belt. A Model 19/66 snubby is a little heavier than most other snub nose revolvers.I It might be a better holster for someone who doesn't have to move very fast or run at times.
