LivexLighting 2051-04 Monterey 1 Light Outdoor Black Finish Solid Brass Wall Lantern with Clear Beveled Glass

Product seemed larger than advertised in photo!!! Generally product seemed well but too small for my home entrance!!!

So I installed two of these larger lights on my front porch, flanking my front door and two of these smaller lights in my backyard adjacent to each of my backyard doors. They all look very nice and were fairly easy to install (some of the mounting screws are in awkward spots to access and are blocked by the lantern). The brushed or satin nickel gives a subdued but rich look and will hopefully not pit like the brass ones I was replacing. Over the past several years I have replaced all the brass hardware in my house with brushed nickel and I must say it looks classy and updated on the gray and dark blue siding/shutters on my Victorian style home. These outdoor fixtures and my entry door lock set were the final brushed nickel pieces to complete the conversion.The lights are very nice quality; with a nice heft in build quality and real glass panes. The hanging lantern design gives it a classy look, too. Inside a standard screw bulb fits and installs easily.Due to the fact that I bought these online and had no visual size reference, I bought two of both the smallest size and the larger size (as noted in the attached pictures). The plan was to use the larger lights on my front stoop and the smaller ones in my backyard, but if the larger ones were too big and looked out of place on my stoop I was going to put them in my yard. Turns out the larger ones looked nicer hanging in my front; hopefully the pictures will help others visualize the size...the installed bulbs are the same in both so the difference in the size of the glass and the lantern between the two sizes can be noted. As for the backing and lantern hook, that stuff is the same size between models.As a quick aside, I was reluctant to mix brushed nickel with the three oil-rubbed-bronze light fixtures I have on my first floor due to a fear of clashing, but the combo looks nice and according to some advice I received and some home decorating things I read, it is entirely permissible.Overall, these outdoor lanterns are high quality and thus far seem to have been a good buy. If time goes on and they do not hold up well, I will update.

The opening to change the light bulb is very small. You either need a special tool or very small hands. Otherwise it is a good product

I have been enjoying these light fixtures on my house. It makes everything look brighter and clearer. It also adds sharper look to my whole entire house. This is well worth the money. I would recommend these to anyone.

Like the finish/color we chose

I had shopped brass porch lamps at big box stores & specialty lighting stores with no success. It's hard to find brass, but I was replacing brass. These are absolutely beautiful, extremely well made, & an incredible buy for the price. Most of the ones I found make it difficult to change the bulbs, but these are like my old ones; the bulb loads from the opening at the bottom instead of having to take the fixture apart to replace the bulb.

Following a severe hail storm early in the summer, we had to replace all of our outdoor light fixtures. We found these and ordered three of them. They're well-built and very attractive. Installation is easy -- turn off the breaker, remove the old fixture, connect the new fixture, and you're in business. We used LED bulbs in these and they work great. Our neighbors have complimented us on how attractive they are!
