An Amazing Book
This book is a game changer for anyone who can go beyond the words and SEE what the author points to. This is not something to try to understand through the intellect because it is beyond the intellect. I attended many of the author's lectures - as my understanding deepened, my therapy practice improved as well as my personal life. This is not a book to read once and take at face value. I encourage everyone to read it at least 2x and if you don't have any insights that improves your life experience read it again and again - everyone eventually begins to see more and life experience improves as a result. I also run a book club with all of Mr Banks books - everyone loves this book - the club is comprised of people wanting to explore what Mr Banks found about life so they have already been exposed to his findings, either from me or from another 3 Principles practitioner (also known as Resilience Principles) when they join,.

Changed my way of Seeing
I've read several of Sid's books. I have been meditating for about 8 years along with reading numerous philosophy books. Never had I read something that is so clear and understandable. Each time I read it I see things that I missed. I've learned to not read the words individually but to understand their collective meaning. Like watching an artist paint a scene your understanding changes with each brush stroke.

Read something else!
This book is so outdated now! It ends with a prediction about the 1970s. Even it’s core message, while valuable, will not be news at all unless you have been living under a rock your entire life. I’m sure there are more current treatments of the author’s insights which go much deeper, and would be much more valuable.

This and then more...
A classic, it is worth reading Sydney Banks' books, but then I recommend exploring the Three Principles more deeply and practically... how they work in life and in action. Check out George Pransky, Jack Pransky, Michael Neill, Mara Gleason and others.

Great story
I’ve been learning about the three principles from many other authors. Then I said to myself why not go to the original.I’m glad I bought this book. Highly recommend.

A beautiful, thought provoking read
I came across the work of author Sydney Banks after discovering The Three Principles movement. This book is a beautiful exploration of what The Three Principles is, explained through a parable featuring a group of psychologists and therapists from the USA who visit England and meet a gardener who shares wisdom that changes their views on mental health.I wish I could explain the Three Principles better, but thinking about how to do that is more difficult than you'd imagine (as you'll find out from reading this book!)Let me just say that I suspect this book will set you on a life long journey of understanding our thoughts form our reality.

Gentle wisdom
Delightful, insightful and gentle. This book was a beautiful introduction to the 3 Principles that explain life. I read it in a short time but just know that as I revisit it I will gain deeper insight and understanding. I have a feeling that this book will become like an old friend in who's company I can rejoice and learn however long it is before I sit down with it again.

Enlightening
Deceptively easy to read, this is a book worth savouring, let the chapters sink in before moving on.A bit late to be recommending a book that’s been around for almost 50 years but if you haven’t read it, do.
