Only 1 fly in two days
This product did not work at all. I made sure I followed instructions and even watched a YouTube video to make sure I did it correctly. I hung on by my front door since we go in and out throughout the day and the other at my back door where the dog goes in and out. These Texas flies were not having it. This trap didn't do a thing. I wish I could get my money back because a $2.00 fly swatter is what I had to use to fix my fly issue.

Kills flies
Have lots of flies on back patio and I don't like them. I've asked them to leave but they won't go. So I hit them with this and now they're dead.

Works If You Can Get The Flies To Land On It
The media could not be loaded. For the flies that decide to land on this, it does kill them almost immediately. The trick is getting them to land on it. Whatever bait/smell they are using doesn't attract the flies very well. I ended up getting one of the reusable traps with bait & water and placing it next to these strips. The trap lures the flies in. Some of them go into the trap & some of them land on this bait strip. The ones who do land on the bait strip will then die almost immediately. Again it's getting the flies onto the strip that is the problem. They don't seem to be very attracted to it.

NEEDS TO BE HORIZONTAL TO WORK BEST
I keep reading the reviews from people who say it does not work. IT DOES IF YOU USE IT CORRECTLY. It works best if laid across the top of an empty 5 gallon bucket. The flies will land on it, die and then fall into the bucket.

Not as expected
When you open these you have to crack a small vile to release and attractant for the flies to come to the yellow part where the poison is located. When flies do land on the yellow they will die with in seconds. But the attractant does not attract. I tried placing in several different areas and the flies chose everything else but this bait. I was really hoping it would work. it doesn’t seem like these baits can be left outside , even under a cover for more than a few days before the yellow starts to fade. I believe when the yellow is fading it means the bait isn’t as effective. So for the price these are not worth it at all.

Didn't work for us; followed directions
Unfortunately, these did NOTHING for us. I have a friend who swears by them so I got $50 worth of them, and they were a waste. =( I tried moving them around but nowhere worked. And...take it seriously when it says not to let them get wet... One particularly dewy night/morning, and that yellow stuff is gone. Not that it makes any difference for me; they don't work on our acreage. But again...I have a close friend who SWEARS by them. She said the dead flies fill buckets beneath the product, so... 🤷🏼Maybe they attract in town flies but not the ones that harass my horses. I guess horses are just more appealing than this stuff? Lol

Magical
Use in barn in a bucket to collect flies... it was too windy to leave out..but works amazing.. much better than traditional fly traps
