Bought these too. I need quite a few baby gates throughout our home and tried these and wall nanny. All have worked extremely well.

An excellent companion purchase to use with the gate are the 4 pack Baby Gates Wall Cups by Vmaisi. The hard-plastic wall cup provided with the gate, fit perfectly within these cups. With a simple installation of a single wood screw, these protectors securely anchor the walk thru gate to the opening creating an efficient barrier to protect both children and pets. The spring loaded “lock” can be a challenge to open with one hand, however with a little practice it can be operated with a single hand with ease. These gates are meant to remain in place, however with the installation of the wall cups directly to the wall or jam, these gates can be temporarily removed and reinstalled with ease. Well built, quality product that performs as advertised.

We needed a baby gate to keep them off the stairs, yet still gave them freedom to play in the living room. We needed to protect our walls and to give more of a tight fit. So I gave this product a try. It makes the gate more secure, has more of a grip, and it has a damage free design for walls. After the four years of using this, we have not run into any issues, and our walls have been damage free, yet still gives the baby gate more security. I would highly recommend this item!

If you have a gate that uses pressure to keep it in place, then get these cups! You will be prolonging the life of the gate and saving time and energy of constantly trying to adjust the pressure to keep your gate in place. I have had this pretty and functional gate for years and thought it had to be replaced because the pressure mounts were no longer able to keep it in place. While shopping for a new gate I saw these and decided to give them a try. They took less than 5 minutes to install and require no hardware. I am thrilled to report that the gate is more stable than it has ever been! I HIGHLY recommend them!
