SIRUI 50mm F1.8 Anamorphic Lens for Micro Four Thirds Mount APS-C

What there more to say. Running this beauty on my Sony fx6 and must say, the quality this lens gives off is beautiful and clean. The lens build quality is solid, Aluminum housing cold to the touch which I love. All in all, it’s worth the price.

Great lens build quality is like a tank you can use it in self defence situations. But for full frame cameras don’t get this unless you know what your doing your sensor and the lens isn’t compatible. Again if your new and wanna play around with cinema lens please research your camera sensor size you’ll thank me later I had to return mine and get the 35.

This is one of my go to lenses and the images it delivers are super sharpe with nice bokeh and blue lens flare. Very heavy but well-made.

Great in low light with good, cinematic video quality but you'll have to be pretty good at manual focus.

Calidad y nitidez, el cuerpo es pequeño lo cual es cómodo para rig que necesita espacio. El anillo de enfoque debería haber tenido la rosca como el de 35 mm pero con un buen focus puller todo se puede. Lo recomiendo un montón. Pero ten en cuenta que su máximo de enfoque es un Metro Limita mucho si quieres hacer algo de detalle o muy cercano. Si deseas hacer más cine, este es el camino.

Very well made lens. It has a very nice look to it and supplements my photo lenses well for video projects.

This is a great, incredibly low-priced entry into Anamorphic Filming. I use this on a Sony Full-frame A7III by using clear-zoom to crop into 1.3x (a bit less than shooting crop mode which punches in 1.5x). Sharp lens and has the characteristic anamorphic look and flairs; not as pronounced as a 1.5 or above Anamorphic - but again, a great entry into the process.

Upon receipt of the lens, the plastic seal around the lens had already been opened and the threading on the front of the lens was dented. I will not be able to use filters because of the damage.

I have all of Sirui's lenses released so far, the 24mm, 35mm and this 50mm that started it all. All I can say is this was the first anamorphic lens released under £1000 which in itself is a miracle. I have always wanted to have anamorphics since I was a teen and while this is not the full 2x squeeze this is still a unique lens by itself that I still marvel at the image that comes from this . The construction is amazing like the other 2 lenses it is solid metal with no plastic excet the caps. The lens itself is extremely sharp at F1.8 all the way down the aperture and bokeh is unique. But it is the flares that pops out of this lens the 24mm has the least amount of flares but this one can give you that JJ Abrahms look. One thing with all Sirui's lenses is that the coatings are different and this is gives a colour cast that is the coolest of the bunch while the other 2 leans towards a more warm tone so just bare that in mind when matching different lenses. Overall an excellent lens to start with and has changed the anamorphic game forever as new lenses will come out not just from Sirui bit other competitors as well. Sirui have also announced new lenses coming and that it will be a longer lens then this so keep an eye out but for now this is a great lens for close ups or even unique photography.

He devuelto este pedido porque - en contra de lo que se desprende de su publicidad - no es compatible con mi camara (Sony 7 II alpha) - por lo que salen imágenes con un viñeteado imposible. Además en la unidad figura qe es DEMO y no se debe usar para venderla. Me parece muy poco serio por su parte hacer este envío y una descortesia despues de varios años y muchos pedidos por mi parte. Ahora me veé obligado a gestionar la devolución del dinero (era financiado a 4 meses con Cofidis) y los gastos suplementarios que ello conlleva. No me parece muy correcto.

Es un objetivo profesional de cine , nada que envidiarle a los más caros , lo mejor que he probado
