Snow Day Paperback – 1 Mar. 2020

I was impressed with this book written when the author was only 13 years old, (apparently still only 14). I wasn’t sure what to expect and found it a galloping good read suitable for youngsters around 6 to 12 years old. The story is about a young orphaned boy looked after by his Grandmother, and his adventures in the snow while he tries to get her pills from the pharmacy. There is an exciting adventure and a scary twist at the end. I will be giving it to my grandchildren to enjoy. My only complaint was that I got the impression it was edited by a software checker, which sometimes muddled spellings of words eg hole instead of whole, stares instead of stairs. A very good first novel for such a young man. Well done
