A Curious Boy Named Jeff: Based on Jeff Bezos's Life (Little Kids' Big Lessons)

This is really a self-help book, using Jeff Bezos as an example of someone who learned useful skills as a child and put them to use as an adult. The lessons: learning anything is useful, be helpful, follow your interests. In many ways I am not a fan of the adult Jeff. But the kid Jeff had a good childhood. Today's children might be curious about Jeff's childhood. If so, this book will be of interest.

A great story to inspire kids to be curious, ask questions and keep trying. It's also a simple way to introduce biographies to children.

Jeff Bezos’ story is an inspiration and this author made it kid-friendly! It is nice for children (of all ages) to see that everyone starts somewhere. This book helps readers see how the circumstances of Jeff’s life helped him to grow and develop into the person we know now. Great moral and story!

This is a cute book about believing in yourself and reaching your goals.It shows young children a real life example of how one person worked hard and achieved thier dream. This is a great way to inspire children to be inquisitive and want to learn. If a child knows anything about Amazon, how could they not want to follow in Bezos’ footsteps. However, I’ve never thought of Jeff Bezos in the altruistic sense in which the author describes him.

This book was perfectly paced and the illustrations were vibrant and interesting. A great introduction to teaching children about the lives of adults who made a difference in our world. This book has great series potential! I hope to see many more biographies from this author and illustrator.

If I could give 0 stars or negative stars, I would. I've never received a book so void of any information in all of my life. I bought this for my 8 yrs old report on Jeff Bezos and it's chock full of absolutely NOTHING. The only lesson I learned is not to waste money on books without reading the reviews. This book is so terrible that after requesting a refund, Amazon didn't even want it back. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

The book does a really great job of presenting complex ideas to little kids. I love the illustrations style and colors. It is a good quick book to get kids inspired about being a life learner!

It is a great book in helping kids to understand about asking questions, reading and experimenting to learn more about the things around them. Lovely using Jeff Bezo's life as an example for it.
