Wow! Impressive book
It’s beautiful book with amazing pictures inside. I am impressed. Truly a coffee book. For example I ordered Gray Malin book book before. It arrived in awful condition. I returned it and second one arrived in the same condition. Inside was a lot about him and less pictures. Not worth it at all. But this book is perfect

This book is beautiful with many great pictures and very interesting texts. Perfect for a coffee table and great to pick up anytime to look at some pictures of ocean life. If I had one complaint it would be that some of the pictures are a little blurry when enlarged to a full page, but most of the photos are great quality and I enjoy looking through this book.

Best book I found in Hawaii
I went to a couple of bookstores and numerous hotels on Oahu trying to find a book for my memories after going snorkeling. One hotel has this book but it was only a display copy so I got it on Amazon. While It’s not specific to Hawaii marine life, it was the closest I could find that captured the thrill on the ocean and the wonders of the life beneath it.

Perfect Gift!
Bought this for my mom for Christmas and it was excellent. Great quality and value. Now I want to buy one for myself! Pictures were beautiful. It shipped fast and I can't believe it was only $25, if you were buying this at a book store it would be $50+. Very impressed and will definitely be recommending to anyone needing a good gift or wanting to add to their coffee table book collection.

Lovely for the price
Just be aware that a lot of the photos are just a little blurry, I think due to being enlarged. If this book was what these type of books usually cost (50+) I would be disappointed. However, many of the photos are very clear and they're all still enjoyable. That, along with the quotes and writing-which is educational but also has stories and musings mixed in-100% am happy with my purchase for the price and I think it's worth it if you love the ocean.

Tremendamente Decepcionado!
Acabo de recibir este libro y estoy extremadamente decepcionado! Estoy seguro que cuando el Sr. Blackwell hizo las fotos que su libro contiene, usó una cámara super profesional lo que hizo que el colorido, resolución y nitidez de las mismas fuera fantástico. Y también supongo que cuando estas fotos se tienen que reproducir a gran tamaño y cientos de veces, el mantener la calidad original tiene que ser un proyecto muy caro. Sin duda alguna, se usa un sistema de reproducción masiva que sacrifica el colorido, la resolución y la nitidez originales. Esta es la única explicación ya que las fotos no tienen vida. Están apagadas, sin brillo alguno e incluso bastante borrosas. El problema es que, por definición, la característica principal de un libro de esta índole (coffee table book) es la calidad de sus enormes fotos. Y aquí radica el problema. Supongo, de nuevo, (ya que no tengo idea sobre lo que se requiere para publicar libros de esta índole!) que para conseguir que las reproducciones masivas de las fotos conserven su calidad original, se requeriría que el precio del libro fuera muy superior a los 50 euros originales (yo lo compré por €36). En otras palabras, para poder vender este enorme libro a un precio tan asequible, no hay más remedio que hacer que la impresión de las fotos sea de una calidad muy inferior a lo que sería la ideal. Yo, francamente creo que es mejor vender el libro con fotos de calidad aunque su precio sea digamos €150. Porque venderlo a un precio bajo con fotos de baja calidad lo único que consigue es decepcionar a la gente y afectar negativamente la reputación profesional del Sr. Lewis Blackwell. Tenía la intención de comprar los libros sobre los gatos y los perros del Sr. Blackwell, pero ya no lo voy a hacer porque no quiero tener otra decepción tan brutal
