I needed soil samples for my food plots. I am a first timer but all research said it was important and these are the best. Followed instructions, sent samples in and 24 hrs after lab received, I had the email results. Highly recommend you also get their Plot Perfection app and pay that fee. That app is awesome for storing lab results and selecting diff products and it will automatically tell you the needed like and fertilizers for the specific Whitetail Institute seed you plan to use as well as generic types of seeds. Highly recommend WI soil test and products.

Very pleased. Easy to use and fast results. Received the test results in less than 5 days. Already ordered another kit to further soil testing.

This test was totally satisfactory. Received results in a nice PDF by email the day after they received my sample. It included phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium, as well as pH and organic matter %. Nitrogen wasn't included. It's cheap on amazon, but when you add $10 postage to mail the pound of soil required, it comes up to the same price as getting your soil tested locally at your extension office. I think I'll do that next time, as the results were clearly geared more towards farming than home gardening. Recommendations for amendments were useless for a home veggie patch.

Bought this to test the soil for our one acre of grass. Super easy directions to follow and within a week I had an email explaining what fertilizer we need to apply. This test takes the guess work out of wondering if I am spending money on the correct product. We will be busy spreading lime. Very helpful and highly recommend!

Waste of money, didn’t come with anything in the box but a checklist. No test bags or where to send it or anything.

Cheaper than some other lab-based soil tests, but it does NOT give you lab results for Nitrogen! My bad for not spotting this deficiency before placing my order. They do share recommendations for how much Nitrogen to add to your soil but it's unclear how they come up with that recommendation if they don;t test for Nitrogen!? Results for the PK part of NPK are included.
