Got these for bar shelves and very happy with the look and overall quality of these shelf brackets. The gold coating is evenly applied and has a nice subtle gold flake appearance. I didnt have studs to fasten so used three 90lb drywall anchors (versus the cheaper ones included) per bracket and they hold plenty of liquor bottles with no problem. A bit tricky to get the bottom skrew in the back of the bracket to fasten to the underside of the shelf. Had to use a flexible right angle drill bit on my impact driver and could then tighten the screw home with a small screwdriver. I used 1/2 inch round pan screws versus the flat heads included with the brackets, which i think looks nicer. Highly recommend.

The first think you notice when you remove them from them from the packaging is that they look nice and aren't at all cheap-looking. They are packed inside loads of bubble wrap and tape, which is good because the nice gold color is only paint and I suspect they're easily scratched. I've had them up on my wall for over a week with about 40 pounds of shelving and stuff, and they seem reliably sturdy.So why only 4 stars? Included in the package are some screws and small plastic drywall expansion anchors. You absolutely should not use those anchors if you want a sturdy shelf that can hold more than, well, the shelf you're putting on the bracket. If you must install into drywall, be sure to purchase some toggle anchors or other anchors better suited to shelving. Please keep the included anchors for some less heavy-duty job.

I got these for a remodeling job, my contractor as impressed at how nice they look and how sturdy they seem. I like that the color is flat not glossy.

These are made with quality materials the only feed back is they should include gold drill caps in order to cover up the holes where you put in screws.
