RESCUE! Big Bag Fly Trap – Disposable, Outdoor Use - 4 Traps

The media could not be loaded. This is actually my third order of these fly trap bags. The past two summers I have hung them late in the summer and this year. I started hanging them around my farm in mid April as temperatures started to climb. The instructions on the product description are very accurate and I would encourage you to hang these in a well ventilated area. I made the mistake of hanging one inside my stall barn and it only made matters worse when my horses were in the barn. The foul emitting smell coming from the bags when activated with water is actually egg whites. I have these hung along my fence line near my dry lot and it has already significantly reduced the amount of problems for my horses. Contrary to what the product may describe or promise it obviously is not going to eliminate all flies, but as you can see in my video, it is put a significant dent in the population already.

This is our second gardening season using these bags. They are a great size and very easy to fill up and install. They catch more flies than other brands we’ve used, and the oversize bags are perfect size for our vegetable garden. These are great and do the job!

I have tried other brands, and keep coming back to these. They are the best!!Yes there is an oder, but that is what attracts the flys. I place my bag 200ft-ish from my house/patio and it keeps flys clear. I only smell it when I am closer to the bag.

We use these around our barns and they do a great job at catching flies. They are super easy to put together and hang and they are durable. They do smell after a while but that is a good reminder that it is time to replace them. Compared to other products, I love that you just take them down and throw them away and there's nothing sticky on your fingers!

Works great, needed two people to hang it for tying the strings up because the adding water makes it awkward. Definitely filled up with flies within a few days we were seeing instant results. The smell is really bad though so make sure you do hang it a distance away from the house.

I have property in Northern Michigan, and my entire 43 years up there we have ALWAYS had biting flies in the summer. They are relentless - they will chase me around, nothing seemed to work.. as a last resort I tried these fly bag traps and WOW. I have been putting them out early summer (May) and have to change them out 2 times after that (usually early July, then in late August) because they fill up completely. I mean to the TOP. I am on my third summer using these and this is the first summer we have noticed a significant decrease in flies, I believe we have made a big dent in the biting fly population in our area. I HAVE NO REGERTS. lolAlso, these do stink very very badly. The idea is to draw flies AWAY, so be sure to hang these AWAY from your house or any open window you may have. When these are full, I get a nice big fire going in the firepit (remember we are in remote northern Michigan, no neighbors for miles), and burn them. I cannot imagine having to throw these away in my garbage can! When full, they are pretty disgusting. But worth EVERY penny. They work and they work great. Buy extras, you wont regret it.
