Very cost effective versus OEM parts and has worked great!
My wife couldn't dump the manual box on our John Deere Gator. I added this and it works perfect!

These Linear Actuators are of OUTSTANDING quality!
Iโve been using these linear actuators for more than three years. I use it for a wheelchair lift, to get my wheelchairs in and out of my car, so reliability is of the utmost importance! It is by far the most reliable piece of equipment Iโve seen for this purpose.Customer support and technical help is superb!Iโm buying my second unit, not because the first one in any way is deteriorating, but Iโm using a faster model. (Itโs actually the same unit, with different gearing.)Again, if I could give them 6 stars, I would!

Very solid build. Excellent drawings and documentation. Used for pickup truck handicap lift.
The media could not be loaded. Installed on a lift that looks like a running board. The running board goes to the ground and up using a remote fob. A 300 pound person creates about 1000 pounds load on the linear actuator. My setup has a 1:3 ratio. I added 100 pounds to 900 to get to 1000 pounds. The 2000 pound actuator does the job with ease. I used the 8" stroke and added limit switches. This actuator replaces the obsolete HydraMotion cylinder S/N 11245. Motor marked PE270980 12VDC. Lift designed by Startrack(s) Lifts in Indiana in 2018.

has hollow cylinder shaft, cant handle anywhere close to 2000 lbs, bent under 200 lb load
worked ok at first, was using to open and close a mechanical door. actuator cycled in and out (very slow) but fine. then after about 2 hours and maybe 20 cycles the rod bent and actuator failed. 300$ down the drain.

Works well
I purchased this to replace the engine hatch actuator in a 2003 380 Sea Ray. It fit this application perfect with no modifications. My only complaint is that the supplied connector on the leads is useless without the mating end. Progressive Automations should have supplied the mating end with pig tails to splice into the existing harness. Not a huge deal or deal breaker. Hopefully it will last as long as the original.

Well made
Well built. Did not like the round face of the actuator ends, these should have been flat faced. The diameter of the linkage hole at the ends of the actuator are ~33/64", with the piston end hole ~.002" larger than the base end hole, which is ~.002" larger than the 33/64" oil-hardened drill rod bar stock I purchased to make linkage pins use with this actuator. I used .004" steel shim stock to firm up the piston end linkage. Progressive Automations does not seem to carry any linkage pins that provide a tight fit for this actuator. This actuator is used to tilt a 800 watt tracking PV array in the north-south axis.

Quality!!
Quality made item through and through. No grease???Waaat?? Powerful and smooth. The 16" is not an exact fit for a sundancer 420DA.p robably just get the 14"..will be "replace plug and play". I had to modify the bracket to get the Hatch to close completely but it lifts the Hatch smoothly and efficiently far better than the OEM with no grease to maintain. The most important thing with this is to measure the compressed length of your old unit not the extended length. I made that error. I would have returned this in order to 14 but I had already cut off the connector to place it into my electrical. 6 months later I'm still smiling every time I open the hatch
