Little long for the 6 year old but great quality and price

Ever since I got back into fishing about 5 years ago, I’ve been using Plusinno rods and reels (Bought close to 10). The first few were combos, and worked great, but the reels (3000) are just too big. So I decided to look for a separate rod and reel. Fortunately, Plusinno’s telescopic rods are very affordable and the customer service is great. I have bought several, and even though a couple have broken, customer service has quickly issued replacements.The quality is excellent, and they are so portable. I plan to buy many more rods in the future, and they have a lifetime customer in me. If they had a 2500 size reel associated with their rods, I would definitely plan to buy the combos again. Tight lines!

I bought a pair of these for me and my mom. It has everything you need to start. The construction is not the best and you have to tighten parts as you use it but seeing my mom catching her 1st fish was worth dealing with the little issues.

Plusinno hit a “Home Run” with this combination. It impressed me with the quality of the rod and the ease in which it extends with a minimum of difficulty. Many of these rods take a lot of time to get the eyes lined up straight and feel “flimsy.” It is a beefy strong rod with a lure weight of ¼ - 1oz. I really think this will handle a 20lb. fish without a problem, although I haven’t caught that fish yet! It compacts down to 16” making it ideal for travel. The reel is a 3000 model and holds 160 yds. of 16 ulb test. It is a smooth casting reel with a strong drag. I loaded it with 14lb. mono. With a 3/16 oz Paddletail and it casts like a dream. The real seat is very sturdy and similar to ones I find on $200 rods. I own a fishing lodge in the Adirondack region of upstate New York and, up until now, would not recommend a telescopic rod. I do recommend this combination. It will fit into a small backpack and is quality built to handle a variety of fish. Thank You Plusinno!

I have a couple of Plusinno Rods & Reels but I wanted a slightly shorter & lighter rod/reel combo for just throwing in my local Lake. That's why I bought the 7.6 Telescopic and rigged it for topwater lures on camo braid.Firstly, I'm very happy with the Feel of the rod in my hand. It's perfectly balanced and stiff but responsive for quick bass hits. It's a 2 piece rod so it's extremely compact and carries well in my car. The eyelets are True and the seat is plastic but strong and secure. The reel is quiet and smooth as well just like my other Plusinno 3000 reel. This is just a Great combination that I can quickly pull out and set up for a throw at the lake or take on my trip when I go to the other coast of FL. Nicely done again Plusinno! The hand crank for the reel was rusty right when I opened it. Not the biggest deal i put some oil to prevent it getting worse but wouldn't expect a new product to be rusty. It is portable. The case actually has too much space. Could be smaller. I bought for taking backpacking and it takes up a bit too much room if i use the carrying case. Take it out though and the pieces don't take much space.

These are light weight but very convenient, takes up no space, the bag fits everything you need for a fishing trip.

Took it out for a spin, and on my first cast, it snapped in half. Bought the protection plan that came with, and when I searched it up. It hadn’t been enough time for it to be activated. Since I bought the protection provided by recommended on purchase. I waited for it to activate before trying to get my money back. It’s been a year since, and no refund, no response, no anything.

Reel is good, Rod is sturdy and strong all packed in a small fabric case. Line is crappy, supply your own. Lures are ok. Great for the ATV. Gonna get another for the wife. Thanks.

The rod broke not even within a week, Stay away.

Brought it on several ultralight backpacking and Packraft trips. Decent quality, works well, quite light, good value for the money spent.
