ELY CATTLEMANMen's Long Sleeve Solid Western Shirt

pretty snazzy shirts
Western wear was designed for people who ride horses, period. Every single feature has a practical purpose. Nothing is "for decoration". That being said, it can be hard to imagine a man's western shirt as being a formal "dress" shirt, but here you have it.First of all, this is a summer-weight shirt, designed to be worn over a conventional t-shirt. So yes, the fabric is somewhat thinner than a winter-weight shirt.Secondly, if you are used to wearing the more traditional men's dress shirts with fancy silk neckties, you may find that these western shirts simply do not feature the same amount of garment construction in the collar. That is because most western men would typically feel more comfortable wearing a slide "bolo" tie, in lieu of a more conventional, four-square necktie, so there is less structure to the collar for that very reason.Third, most non-western dress shirts come equipped with adjustable cuffs with buttons, whereas many western shirts like this, come furnished with three snappers on both cuffs, which are unfortunately, not adjustable. So, what's the point? From a distance, this shirt looks one helluva lot like a man's formal wear tuxedo shirt, only instead of vertical "plaits", you have two chest pockets with flaps and fancy snappers on each pocket. This particular shirt just happens to be available in both plain black and plain white, and BOTH of them are pretty snazzy shirts, even when worn open collar. Please be aware that most western shirts, this one included, typically fit a little more snug than a conventional dress shirt. Not a slim fit, mind you, but something more along the lines of an athletic cut.

Liked shirt. But snaps would not stay snapped. Had to work on the snaps.

Fits as expected and hubby says very comfortable.
Husband really likes the style and fit of this shirt. Says it is very comfortable and sleeves fit. Often find it difficult, even in a tall size, to find sleeves that are long enough. I also like the way it looks and fits. The light blue looks good with his medium gray pants for a wedding and dresses down nicely with his jeans.

Good value, multipurpose light weight shirt
Lighter fabric than Wranglers but I find this is very nice for spring and early summer season, also the black color is quite multipurpose, it looks smart on formal occasions but also can be used as a uniform shirt and for casual wear, the size of LT is long enough for a lean man with the average height of 6''.2' to 6'.5'

The sleeves were long as advertised. The fit is good. It is a sharp looking shirt.
The size was as advertised. I like it very much and would buy again in a different color. Ed

Sleeves are very short
Shirt fits and looks great EXCEPT for it's sleeves which are very short. I am a taller guy, but I haven't had this issue with any other shirt brand. Guess I'll just wear it with the sleeves rolled up.
