So much reference! Articles! Stories! Awesome book.
Incredible amount of reference photos, plus most of the bikes have very thorough write-ups regarding its origins, why it was built, what it took, and profiles on each builder(s) as well. Did I mention it has an incredible amount of photos? Because there are a LOT of bikes in this book. INCREDIBLE work. Worth the seemingly high price of the book - they did a lot of work here.I'm an artist and designer, I work on automotive projects and needed a book with lots of reference. This book is the book for people like me who need bike stuff!!I love this book, and plan on buying more from this author/publisher.

What is the difference
What is the difference in the base book, the Rebel edition, and the Gentleman's edition? They have different numbers of pages, but the "ad copy" is nearly a word for word cut and paste for all three. There is certainly nothing that definitively differentiates them in the descriptions. There's also not currently a way to ask a question on this, so I'm stuck using the review section to ask this and hope for a reply. I'll be happy to delete or edit the rating if it's just moved to a question box.

"the Ride - 2nd Gear" Book Review
Great follow-up to the first version of the Ride - beautiful pictures and well-written text - everything I've expected from the book.A must for anyone interested in today's custom motorcycles and the culture surrounding it.I'm also extremely happy about Amazon UK's service - thank you very much :)
