The Brambly Hedge Library

I wasn't clear on what this contained when I bought it, so for others looking at The Brambly Hedge Treasuary, it starts with an Introduction to Brambly Headge, including pictures from the seasons books, but not enough to spoil reading them independently. It then has full versions of the The Secret Staircase and The High Hills. It's a little larger than A4 size, which is nice to see the details in the pictures.

I adore the leisurely detailed magical world of mice from Jill Barklem!You can watch her detailed drawings always with pleasure!There are two stories in the book about the adventures of mice, who never get bored in the Bramble Hedge.

Beautiful book, only lost 1 star as it had a written message inside for, I'm guessing, the previous owner. However it is fine for myself and daughter to read.

Beautiful selection of books in a lovely presentation box. I love the detail of the illustrations. The stories are lovely, bought this for my 3 year old daughter who loves Beatrix Potter - the stories are more wordy than Beatrix Potter stories, so don't always hold her attention for the whole story, but it is as much an investment for the future when she can read them herself as it is for enjoyment now.

Excellent condition. Son loves these stories, as I did when I was small.

The quality of the slipcase was not quite as good as described. It was dirty, a bit tatty and marked in places. The books inside were good no complaints there.
