Mighty Avengers Vol. 4: Secret Invasion Book 2 (Mighty Avengers (2007-2010))

Don't buy this expecting to see much of the Mighty Avengers, they're hardly in it, heck don't buy it expecting to find out much about the Secret Invasion as most of the story takes place in the other dozen or so tie-in books (I'm not joking, there is a major change to one of the Mighty Avengers but it's not explained here)What you will get is some drawn out fight scenes and confusing dialogue/art (the Mar-Vell chapter being the worst). Frankly unless you are prepared to shell out for the other books give it a miss.

Anyone want to explain to me why on earth this is part of a series entitled 'The Mighty Avengers'? I'm lost as to why, as this seems to be nothing more than a collection of unrelated stories that only briefly display identifiable conntinuinity. I undersatnd that this collection of comics is actually filling in gaps found in other titles, which returns me to my original question:- Why is this part of a series entitled 'The Mighty Avengers'? As a casual reader of comics, I feel cheated out of my money and feel Marvel need to pay a little bit more respect for the consumer. Maybe it's great if you're a comic obsessive, but as a stand alone product this is unforgiveably poor.
