Yes indeed! I love it.
Fantastic continuation of Perry's quest to reach the East Ruins accompained by his best and devoted friends, Stuber, Teran, and Sagum. I waited with anticipation for this, the second book in the God Breakers series, and I was not disappointed. Mr. Molles has a fabulous imagination along with the talent of putting it into words to be read. I will confidently tell you this author is a master of taking ordinary words and turning them into magic. I enjoy his works so much I will gladly forgive him for all the typos in the last quarter of the book. That is the fault of his proofreaders who should be more observant and precise.Be that as it may what do you think the role of the nine sons of Primus is going to be?The Nine = Nine Justices?All-Kind? Could that represent the Church? Is Primus the government? And who are the Watchers? The Praetors are the armies of the Paladins but what do they represent? Many questions to consider and now we have a dark object orbiting high above the earth with a red glowing orb inside. You've heard the saying, "let sleeping dogs lie," right? What kind of sleeping dog will we find inside the dark object in the next book? And will Sagum have the skill to restore Whimsby back to life? I hope so for I have a feeling Perry and company will dearly need him.I have lot's more questions and would like to know what other readers think.Yes, I highly recommend this book but read the first one first. As always, HAPPY reading and enjoy life.

A demigod, a warrior, a thief and a self-aware mech. Sounds like the beginning of a joke.
But this story is no joke. Percival 'Perry' McGown, orphaned son of Cato and Fiela McGown, was half demigod due to his mother's dalliance with Paladin Selos. Cato McGowan had sent Perry and his friends on a quest to East Ruins to uncover the truth about their world and the All-Kind gods who had destroyed it. His party consisted of a half-breed runt - himself. A deserter from the legions - Stuber. A woman who had been raised as a thief and con-artist - Talum . And a tinkerer - Sagum. Joining their party was a conundrum - a mechanical being who was self aware and very familiar with their goal, even if he didn't know all the details. The five personalities clashed and argued almost continuously. It wasn't until danger tested their mettle that they came together pursuing a common goal. Perry was the unquestioned leader of the party as he learned to control his powers. The characters grow through the story and don't become a meshed party until shared strugglers forced them into a unit. The entertaining bickering brings their personalities to light, highlighting their commonalities and differences, and eventually melding them into a strong unit. The characters drive the story and it's hard to determine the direction of the storyline as the characters steer it in unforeseen paths. But the storyline is still amazing and gets better with each page. I can't wait until the next book to find out what's happening! Great read!

Great read. Terrible book binding
I'm loving this story. It's exciting and thrilling. Parts get me stressing out and have me laughing out loud. My only qualm is the quality of the book itself. Unfortunately my copy has a lot of loose pages that pop out almost every other turn of a page (as you can see from the picture). Definitely not what you would expect for the price of the book.

thoroughly enjoyed this book
Several themes stuck out- about overcoming the long odds and personal doubts with self mastery, trusting the abilities of your chosen team instead of being a one man show, and how your blood nor past have any bearing on your ability to determine your future. Great character development, I found myself laughing at the witty interplay between characters. Wonderful author - such a different type of story telling from the first series of books he’s written… I can’t get enough of DJ Molles!!

A Dangerous Blend of Science-Fiction & Mythology
Absolutely amazing!!! This book has it all, and I devoured it over the course of just a few sittings. The character development, action sequences, and smooth transitions in terms of surprises drove this masterpiece. I cannot wait for the next one and hope there are many more in this series to follow!Might I add, wouldn't Dwayne Johnson be a natural fit for playing Stuber if this were to become a motion picture??You crushed this one out of the park DJ! Thank you for letting a reader like me become encompassed into another time, place, and life with a work like this. Stellar!

Hold onto your hearts. The Gods are coming!
This book is fantastic from start to finish. I love the different worlds, per se. The mystical adventure, the Harry Potter like magic or in Godbreaker the Confluence. Perry goes on a mission to meet his father's expectations and becomes the leader that his parents saw in him as a toddler. He has bonded immensely with his friends and makes new friends (even unusual friends) in the process. All with jam packed adventure.

Loved it!!
What can I say about The Nine besides the fact that I loved it. This sequel takes the characters and builds on them, it takes the world building and expands it, and it takes the mystery and intrigue and knocks it up a notch. I couldn’t put it down and cannot wait for the next book in the series!!

A look into our distant future!
WOW! This series is awesome! I have always like sci-fi, but have always found the literary genre to be a little "inaccessible". Molle takes the genre and wraps it all up in a perfect ball of dystopian fiction! The story line is believable, the characters are believable (and likable), and the plot is easy to follow. Molle has become one of my favorite authors. I ordered the audiobook version of this and was not disappointed. The narrator did a PERFECT job!

The Nine are out!
Exciting with plenty of adventure, certainly looking forward to the next book, how Perry and his crew link with the Palladians etc. With further problems from above now the nine are out.

From Zombies to Gods, DJ's imagination has no bounds
The progression of the story is so imaginitive! A world that is on the same level as Game Of Thrones, The Walking Dead etc. You'll never read a story like this
