Absolutely brilliant! I hit the pay now button with some trepidation, but the bbq is worth every penny. So quick to set up and start cooking (it took us 5 minutes first time, double checking the instruction book at every step!) we had tasty burgers and sausages and no smoke in our eyes. Cleaning was a doddle. Once it was cold and the ash disposed of, a quick wipe then into the dishwasher and it came out pristine. I can’t praise it highly enough.

We wanted a barbecue we can use on our balcony (we live in an apartment) and take on picnics. Tried it out for the first time the other evening. On the plus side it is compact and, once lit, virtually smokeless - so good for the balcony. However, it didn't get hot nearly as quickly as the instructions lead you to believe - we took the best part of an hour to cook four smallish kebabs! Maybe we did something wrong with the fan - we will certainly try again soon in the hope of perfecting it. The other small problem is that this particular barbecue does not have a lid or carry bag, but of course it is cheaper than those that do - but it makes taking it on a picnic more difficult. You would need to find a safe way of disposing of the charcoal after use before you could take it back home.

Nachdem wir nur einen kleinen Balkon haben, aber extrem gerne mit Kohle grillen waren wir auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten Gerät. Da uns der berühmte Bruder einfach zu teuer war, sind wir auf den Emerio Fan Grill gestoßen. Die guten Bewertungen haben uns zum Kauf ermutigt. Und wir sind begeistert! Alles was wir bisher gegrillt haben ist perfekt geworden. Natürlich ist der Rand nicht ganz so heiß wie die Mitte, aber im großen und ganzen ist die Wärmeverteilung super. Und man kann in kürzester Zeit mit dem Grillen beginnen. Außerdem gibt es fast keine Rauchentwickkung. Allerdings ist nach 1,5 Stunden Schluss. Dann müsste man neu beginnen. Und grillen in einer Alutasse geht kaum, da der Rost gebogen ist. Aber sonst eine prima Alternative, wenn man keinen Garten zum Grillen hat. Und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist top!

Ich habe mir den Grill geholt, um in ruhe rauchlos zu grillen. Nach dem AUspacken gleich mal ausprobiert: Holzkohle rein, 2 kleine Zündwürfelstücken(steht in der Bedienungsanleitung) rein, angezündet, und los gings. Man merkte deutlich, wie der Lüfter den Oxidationsprozess beschleunigte. Nur hat es angfangs relativ stark geraucht. Später mehr oder weniger gar nicht mehr. So stark kannte ich das nicht von den Videos im Internet. Daher ziehe ich hier einen Stern ab. Sonst hat alles wie gewünscht funktioniert. Die Hitze hielte bei mir sogar gute 40 Minuten lang an und ich konnte Problemlos alles grillen.

Wir waren sehr skeptisch, ob man dieses Gerät wirklich als Grill bezeichnen kann und haben es direkt nach Erhalt getestet. Die Inbetriebnahme war sehr leicht und es wird lediglich Grillkohle und anzündgel benötigt! Der Grill ist relativ schnell auf Temperatur und man kann somit gleich mit dem grillen starten! Man muss allerdings sagen, dass die lediglich die Mitte der Grillfläche wirklich heiß genug wird um das Grillgut schön cross zu bekommen. Der Randbereich ist eher zum langsamen garen geeignet 😅 Ist aber definitiv eine lustige Sache und für zwei Leute die entspannt (ohne Zeitdruck) etwas auf den Grill legen wollen, ein brauchbares Gerät. Die Rauchentwicklung ist nach dem anzünden wirklich minimal, da die Kohle schnell zum glühen gebracht wird! Ist das Spektakel beendet und möchte man den Grill reinigen, kann man beinahe alles in der Spülmaschine verstauen und aufgrund des antihaftbeschichteten Grillrost wird auch alles leicht wieder sauber.

Super Grill, schnell einsatzbereit. Für Terrasse, Balkon, Camping oder Garten top! Hab ihn meiner Tochter zum Geburtstag geschenkt. Sie war total begeistert.
