Allied Precision 77 Utility Heater, 500-Watts/120-Volts

This heater is for a replacement for the heater in a Hoskins automatic waterer.

I have tried several things to heat my well house enough to not freeze and this is the best so far. Currently is is about 17* outside plus the windchill, but my well house is sitting at 40* because of this device. I have it sitting on the cement floor fairly near the well elements and it is doing a great job of keeping everything running. The fact that this is only 500 watts is a big deal to me, since all previous heaters have tripped the breakers even if they shouldn't have. Not having to go out and reset things in the freezing cold and/or middle of the night is a huge bonus. Love this. Super simple and works.

The heater is working good. I am using it in a water fountain for livestock where the heater that came with the unit didn't keep the water from freezing. I order the second one for backup.

Use in the winter to keep my outside well pressure tank from freezing. Does the job. Doesn't get hot enough to cause a fire. Good price. Really like.

I use this in my well house to keep the water from freezing when the tennis get too low here in NC. It does the job and I don't have to run water all night long to prevent the system from freezing up.

This thing is the real vip. Ours went out and I couldn't find one that was small like it to replace it besides this one. It gets the job done. Don't forget you still have to drip your faucets. May not freeze in the well house but still can freeze in the pipes.

We have used these for years to keep our well house from freezing and they have done a great job.
