Amazon Essentials Women's Classic-Fit 100% Cotton Long-Sleeve Crewneck T-Shirt

I like this shirt. Previous buyers advised to buy a larger size, and said the sleeves were too tight. I bought large instead of medium, and the shirt was too large for my taste. I then washed the shirt in cold water, and it is OK now , but a bit too loose. The arms are not tight -- they are fine. So I am not sure whether others should buy a size up in this shirt, or order their regular size.

this tee feels really nice. My only negative is that it is a little bit heavier than I wanted for a summer shirt but I am keeping it anyways . Price was great for the quality.

The fabric is a nice weight. Tight woven medium weight. The seams, cut and overall design is well done for a cheaper cost shirt. It's soft but keeps it's shape nicely. It does run small so if you have a bigger chest or carry fat around your back or middle or have wider shoulders, get a size bigger than you normally wear. I have long arms and the sleeves hit my wrists just below the crease of my hand, which I like but if you're petite, the sleeves will be very long (easy to alter if you sew. And if you don't, just roll them up or use fabric tape and turn them under. Or sew them under and add a thumb hole if you like that). I washed this in warm water before wearing it and it didn't shrink or wrinkle up or get "fuzz balls". This is a great shirt for jammies or with jeans. It works for both.

I like for my shirts to be loose, so I ordered up; I'm 5'1", 120 lbs., and normally wear a s/m, but sized up to a large in this shirt. The color is as shown, and the fabric is thick enough to not be see-through and it is NOT prone to the frustrating holes cause by jean buttons!! I will buy this in as many colors as I can get it in!

I really like the shirt. It’s long enough that it covers my lower back when I bend to pick something up. It’s flattering. The only thing is it runs small. I’m a large but got an extra large because I wanted a little more room and when I got them they were so tight on me. So go up a size.

I've been searching for a casual, everyday long-sleeve tee for weeks now. I wanted a shirt-tail hem (because they are flattering, look good with jeans, and elongate my shorter waist!) I've purchased other tees which were simply too tight (I'm 5'4" and 125 lbs. give or take, with a larger bust.) I am also older, and do not want a tight stretch across my top and belly. I am generally a solid medium, but decided to size up to a large (better too loose than too tight.) Happy to say that this shirt was perfect. Nice quality cotton, not sheer, not too thin, looks like it will last. And it did not shrink in the wash so I'll count that as a win. Like Goldilocks, I found the one that was just right and now I'm happy. Just have to find the right sized rocking chair! One caveat: I do wish there were a few more colors to choose from. I'd love a turquoise or forest green.

This crew neck basic style is great for work or play. I’ve had frustrating experiences with buying similar items from other suppliers on Amazon. The descriptions say they’re 100% cotton but they arrive and they’re not, so I just have to return them. I’d almost given up on buying clothes on Amazon altogether. However, Amazon Basics has now become my trusted Go To for tops and cardigans. I’m buying more of these tee shirts for sure in other colors.

I bought this to wear as a PJ top and it's perfect. However, the quality is very good indeed and I would certainly wear it as an everyday casual top. It fits well and the cotton jersey is a high quality. Much better than I imagined it would be.

Quite a nice top, good quality, washes well, and I noticed the wash label says you can tumble dry it, so I did, and it didn't shrink. It's long enough to look nice with trousers.

It looked a bit better in the picture ( it always does). Very average- the shape is for men not women.

Washes well. Soft and good length.

Just what I wanted. Plain, long sleeved, white, cotton t-shirt at a reasonable price. Seems good quality material and nice fit. Very happy. And impressed!
