this is an eyelash and brow color and not a hair dye. it says it especially on the package, well in german, but anybody can translate it and knows for what the dye is.the headline for the product is wrong it is not hair dye !!

The authentic ones are made in Austria. You should be able to distinguish by price.

Will this product work for coloring a man's facial hair?

Yes but a hair color for your head would be a better option.
